blue bird – 4-person Fiat 280 / Knaus from 1990

Hello everyone,

Our camper was registered in the Netherlands in 1990, a solid, strong Fiat diesel engine with a Knaus camper!

Despite his age, he still looks good, with a rock-hard bottom!
-Engine in perfect condition, extensive service Dec. 2025
- electrical wiring and timing belt renewed;
-APK inspection valid until 2026 inclusive
-Gas inspection and new pressure valve and hose, May 2025 (every two years).

Nice upholstery, comfortable beds.
Users provide their own bed linen and fitted sheet.

The camper accommodates 4 people in terms of seating (ring seating) and sleeping arrangements (2x2).
The ring seat can be converted into a bed in the seating area; lower the table, put cushions over it, and sleep.
And in the alcove above the driver's cab, two more sleeping berths accessible via the ladder.

There is an awning available.

The camper really drives like a dream, just start it up and drive!

-In Germany, this camper is already a classic car, which has the advantage that you are allowed into the major cities!

-A seatbelt is not mandatory if the vehicle was put into circulation before January 1, 1971. In that case, the camper may remain original, and you may use all available seats without a seatbelt.
From 1971 to 2000, the longitudinal seats could still be used without a seatbelt.

In the meantime, I have installed an extra forward-facing lap belt for children or a travel buggy/bassinet.

-Furthermore, you have unlimited mileage during the trip; the only thing I ask is that you refuel the camper with diesel at the end of the trip;
-The gas consumption cannot be measured in the tank; afterwards I will send you a payment request for 40 euros excl. VAT.
