Hello camper,

How nice that you are interested in our camper!

In 2022, we rented a campervan through Goboony for the first time and took a trip. What a fantastic sense of freedom! After our first stop, we looked at each other and said, "We want this too!"

In July 2023 we bought our 2012 Laika. A semi-integrated,
built on a Fiat Ducato chassis, with a 2.3 JTD diesel engine with now 180 hp and 420 Nm of torque (tuned).

This met all our needs, and what a great decision we made. Trial weekends away to try everything out and see what else we needed.
That September, we traveled through France with it. It was a little over two weeks due to work, but it felt like much longer. And as the platform already indicates, there are too many campervans parked, including ours. A shame, because it's a fantastic vehicle for traveling. If you're interested in finding out if "camping" is for you, we decided, after careful consideration, to rent ours out. After all, we've become "infected" this way too.

Our motto is that the destination is the journey itself. We don't do hour-long drives. That's not the campervan life. Leaving in the morning and arriving at the next destination around lunchtime is.
So, for example, driving to southern Spain or Italy and back in two or three weeks is simply not OK.

We like modern technology and safety and have already made some adjustments such as:

- replace the outdated audio with a double DIN audio system with Apple and Android CarPlay.

- a TomTom Go Camper Max navigation system, in which the dimensions of the camper have been entered, so that (hopefully) narrow streets and low viaducts are avoided.

- A new DuoControl gas regulator with a crash sensor is built in, so you can now drive safely with the gas tap open and the refrigerator running on gas. Very handy if you stop along the way, for example, to do some grocery shopping.

- Had a MaxxFan installed. Great for extracting cooking odors or blowing in fresh air. A great device. And it can even be left on while driving because it runs on 12V.

In 2024, the 150-litre Dometic refrigerator was also replaced by a brand new one with a door that can be opened from both sides.

- In April 2025, new alloy wheels with Michelin Crossclimate all-weather tires were fitted.

Did we mention there's a satellite dish on the roof?
A digital smart card from Canal Digitaal can be activated for the entire journey if desired.
But in April 2025, we also installed a new Google TV. We installed all sorts of apps and can watch them via Wi-Fi. It's working really well, so we're considering removing the satellite dish, as it's quite heavy.

In early 2025, we also purchased a Starlink Mini. Abroad, not only is the internet connection at campsites poor, but the overall reachability often leaves much to be desired. With satellite internet, this is a thing of the past. We can then provide you with the Starlink Mini during your trip. You pay a monthly subscription fee of €89.

We also have a JBL Bluetooth speaker and various plugs with iPhone lightning, micro-USB and USB-C cables as standard in the camper.
Probably enough for all your devices.

In addition, our Nespresso and quite complete inventory may also come with you.

In short, the camper is ready to go on a trip with you!

What to bring:
duvets, covers, pillows, pillowcases, fitted sheets, towels and kitchen textiles.

Two gas bottles, each weighing 7.5kg and 5kg, are weighed upon departure and again upon return. Or two 5kg bottles (whichever you prefer). Your consumption will be billed and paid upon return.

You will receive the camper with a full fuel tank (90 liters of diesel).
When returning the vehicle, please ensure you have a full tank of fuel. (There's a 24/7 gas station less than 1,500 meters from our house.)

The camper will also be delivered to you clean inside and out. You don't need to clean the exterior!
We also expect to receive the camper back clean inside, with an empty and cleaned toilet cassette.

Upon departure, we'll go over an inventory list of the camper together. We'll review this list again upon your return.

Any damage, defects, breakdowns, or anything else to the camper itself must be reported to us immediately. This allows us to assess whether the next rental period will be jeopardized.

Finally, pick-up and drop-off are by arrangement. Don't mind Goboony's standard times. You can pick up our campervan in the morning and return it in the afternoon on the day itself.

The returned camper cannot therefore be sent on the road again the same day.
You could say it costs us a rental day, but we find service and
It is more important to make the camper ready for the next renter at our leisure.
