Hello dear human,
Here is my Lakshmi where I have been living for two years. For 4.5 months I was able to realize my dream of free life on the road with my father, who is a carpenter.
For the time being, I'm at my friend's apartment this winter and I wish her a great new adventure.
I will give you Lakshmi with all the kitchens, camping, autoschnick so that you have the easiest transition and can go fully equipped.
What's special?
Of course she is a one-off, because there is nothing like her in the world and I can only speak in high tones and with a lot of humility and trust about my faithful companion.
It is important that you know that the length of the bed is only built for people who are 1.75 tall.
Stretching out and stretching out is therefore only possible for people who are under 1.75 meters.
I arranged this summer with my boyfriend, who is > 1.80, but we put pillows on the kitchen area so that he could spread out, we lay in bed at an angle together. This is not a problem. The bed itself is adjustable, to pull in and out, so that you can make yourself comfortable alone and also good for two or if you like having a lot of space to sleep, you can also spread out.
My car is an adventure car and not a luxury van. I stand with her outside of campsites in nature, in the forest, on dirt roads and by the sea. It's the best way to get in touch with people locally and you'll often be invited to dinner and get in touch. What makes life more beautiful than nature and connection with people?
Now for the equipment:
Lakshmi has three seats in front. Safety vest and warning triangle are behind the driver's seat. Papers including insurance and TÜV are all in the glove compartment. Oil is refilled, enough water for the wipers and battery is full.
There are two windows, once a skylight, which is easy to open and close and always has to be closed while driving, and a window on the kitchenette.
Now go backwards. You are looking at a stove that runs on gas (which is also full) - always needs to be turned off after each use! There are spices hanging at the top of the cupboard that you can use up until you can use them up. All kitchen utensils can be found under the stove up to the top and on the right in the drawers.
On your left is a sink, which you can toggle on and off with a kink kick. If you have a lot of sinks, I recommend opening the sliding door under the sink and using the water tank like this, then the water can splash and there is more space. But you can choose for yourself how it will prove to be practical for you.
Accordingly, there are two water tanks, one for waste water and one for the new water, which then comes out of the tap at the top.
Next to the sink is a fridge. Then there is a bench that can be used when the bed is not used as a double bed and a small seat next to the stove when you don't want to sit on the bed or outside.
Now to the electronics:
There is solar power and mainland power
Mainland power is all white sockets and switches and will only work if you are connected to an ElectroPinch with the cord. The socket for the shore power looks out from the left side of the Renault.
The solar power always works with the lights on the bus. All black small light switches (usable from right to left i.e. far left is the switch for the light under the bed (storage), then above the bed, then in the kitchen, then under the stove and the last one above the driver's cabin (in the attic) . The switch display in the middle is for the solar power, which you can switch on and off depending on the solar radiation. With permanent radiation, you can have the refrigerator, your laptop, and another electronic device connected. Otherwise, the display is important to watch, how much electricity the solar system uses. If too much is connected, it flashes red and you can pull out one of your electrical appliances or the refrigerator manually.
In addition to the switch, there are also two USB ports and a cigarette port.
The heating system:
The heater is located under the fridge and runs on diesel gas. The heating controller is slightly below the other electronics and can be adjusted there.
The memory:
In the back of the bus there are a couple of camp chairs, two wheel chocks, a box with tools, a sunshade plastic with poles, several pegs and ropes to attach, a clothesline, a solar shower, spare windshield wipers and a box to store your belongings that you need.
Sheets, pillows and duvet are provided. But I can also take it out if you prefer to use your own.
That's all the information I'm going to let flow to you and if you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch and maybe we'll see each other with Lakshmi soon.
I'm looking forward to it!
