Hotel California – 4p Volkswagen bus uit 2022

After long dreams and fantasies, we took the step; we bought our own California.
It must be said, it is our first year ever with a camper, but as far as we are concerned it is love at first sight!

What appeals to us about the California is the perfect combination of a spacious car, with all the options to travel around and spend the night anywhere.
You can sit with 4 in the car and sleep with 4. The seats downstairs can be converted into a double bed, and you can open the second double bed in the roof in an instant.
You can rotate the 2 seats at the front to allow 4 people to sit together in the living area. You can open a table to sit inside if necessary. But when traveling around we prefer to sit outside, of course. The car has a built-in outdoor table and 4 chairs.
With the built-in refrigerator, gas stove and tap you have a kitchenette at your disposal. The cupboards contain kitchen utensils for 4 people.

Our California is a coast version, but with various extra options that make it resemble an ocean (the big difference compared to the coast is mainly the electric doors and roof tent).
On the road, the car does not drive like a large camper, but rather like a smooth car with a comfortable automatic gearbox, adaptive cruise control, safety systems such as emergency break, etc. Due to its size you can still easily drive in the city, park anywhere (also in the standard underground car parks) and you pay a normal car rate for tolls.
When camping, the California provides every comfort thanks to the dish springs in the roof tent, extra topper mattress in the lower bed, dimmable mood lights in the living area and near the beds, sockets, ...
There is heating for the cold days. The 2 batteries for the living area work separately from the car battery. This allows you to easily stand independently without having to connect to a socket. This battery charges quickly as soon as you drive, but if necessary you can enable the option to charge it faster. In other words, you can go a long way with it.
In the suitcase there is a shower connection for the outdoor shower.

In other words, a lot has been provided in this camper!
