#followthesun – Ford Nugget Westfalia (2021)

Our Ford Nugget (2021 model year) was built by the German company Westfalia, known for its iconic VW vans. The setup is unique: because the kitchen and cabinets are integrated into the trunk, the van feels like a real car while driving, with plenty of space and room in the back seat. This makes the kitchen easy to use even when both beds are installed.

Our campervan drives smoothly on the highway and in the mountains (185 hp), is compact, maneuverable, and easy to park in a regular parking space. Its height is limited (2.09 m), so it can also fit in some parking garages.

The campervan has five full-size seats. Four adults can sleep in the two beds. It also offers various options for the perfect camping holiday.

The main features are:
- A compact but well-equipped kitchen with a 2-burner gas stove (Dometica), an electric refrigerator (Westfalia) and a sink with a 40-liter water tank
- Cutlery and plates for 5 people, cooking utensils, Bialetti (coffee percolator), etc. are always available.
- An outdoor shower (cold water) can be installed under the tailgate.
- A small camping toilet (Porta Potti) is also provided if required.
The pop-up roof features a comfortable double bed measuring 138 x 200 cm. The rear bench seat converts into a double bed measuring 120 x 200 cm.
The pop-up roof has three windows with mosquito netting. They offer a beautiful view when you wake up!
- The windows are tinted and fitted with curtains.
- Equipped with ample lighting, 3 reading lights (LED) and conveniently placed USB charging points, 12V and 230V connections.
- There is more than enough storage space under the sofa and in the various cupboards.
- 5 camping chairs + camping table are provided
- A tow bar (rated up to 750 kg) is included. A bike rack for two bikes is also available as an option.
- Extendable awning from Thule (against sun and rain)

In addition, the camper van is equipped with:
- Google Maps or Waze navigation via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can also play your own Spotify music.
- Adaptive cruise control
- Air conditioning
- Rear-view camera (very useful when parking)
- Blind spot mirrors
- Maximum permitted load weight is over 585 kg.

You can also pick up the camper van at Wetteren train station.

The campervan is delivered clean and with a full tank, and we would like to receive it back that way. A cleaning fee of €50 is charged if necessary.
