Frida – New Dreamer 55UP large campervan

Frida is our pride and joy, our home away from home and we think you would love her too!
Frida is a rarity; she sleeps 4 and drives 4 in a luxuriously, professionally converted 2022 Peugeot Dreamer D55UP.

Driving
The driver's cab features comfortable soft leather seats, the latest Sony XAV DAB Bluetooth media centre with Apple/Android Car Play, which gives us Sat Nav on the large LED screen by connecting with Google or Apple maps app on our phones. We also use the media centre to play our favorite music or podcasts and to make hands free phone calls. Frida's cab is fully heated and air-conditioned.
The two belted forward facing seats behind the driver's cab also have a removable table, which allows our kids to play games, draw in books or lay our their snacks for the long drive ahead.
Frida's skyview panoramic roof provides lots of natural light to the cab.

Sleeping
The 2 large fixed double beds come with very comfortable memory foam mattresses. The main bed is at the back of the van. We like to have our morning cuppa in bed, whilst enjoying the vista with the back doors open. The second double bed is in the simple to erect poptop, which our kids love to sleep in even when parked at home. There is an added safety netting that means the pop up bed is a safe haven for the kids. Frida is fully heated and will be fitted with an air-conditioning system before the hot months of 2024. The blackout blinds throughout the van ensure the ultimate privacy and a restful night's sleep.

Living
The driver and passenger seats swivel around to allow all four of us to sit and eat together around the removable table. Frida is equipped with a powerful solar panel, 2 leisure batteries, and a 650W inverter which means we can go fully off grid. The large 12V DC powered fridge freezer and 2 gas hob stove allows us to easily self cater and be self sufficient, hooked up or off grid for several days. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pans, plates etc. and a sink with running hot water. There are separate toilet and shower rooms.
We have recently purchased a drive away awning with a picnic table and benches, which you are welcome to take with you. We also have some foldable chairs which you can use as needed.
Frida is equipped with WIFI and a smart tv.

Storage
Frida has a large garage space underneath the main bed which is plenty of space for us as a family of 4 to store luggage as well as the awning, picnic table and benches. There is plenty more storage throughout Frida, none more impressive than the MODULSPACE wardrobe system; this clever use of space means that we have the benefit of a decent sized wardrobe stowed in the shower, which swings into the bedroom when one of us uses the shower. Frida's main bed is easily converted into two bench seats, which allows us all to sit in the back and enjoy the panoramic views with the back doors open. This space can also be used to easily transport bikes.

Location
Frida is based at our friends house in Buckley, North Wales, just a couple of minutes from the A55, North Wales Expressway. Chester and Wrexham are about 15 mins away. Manchester Airport is about 45 minutes away.

Pets
On a case by case basis. We're sorry if we refuse you pet, but Frida is brand new and we want to keep her as good as new.

Insurance
Frida is fully insured for any driver, including international roadside assistance and breakdown recovery. Our comprehensive insurance will even cover a night in a hotel and travel expenses in the unlikely event of a breakdown. You must have no more than 6 points on your license.

PIck up/drop off:
You can leave your vehicle in our friends drive where Frida is located or they can collect you from Buckley train station.

Late booking
We have to arrange handover with our friends Darren and Sarah, who both work. As this needs a bit of planning it becomes difficult to accept late booking requests, especially on weekdays. Please try to book at least a week in advance.
