Lee was an excellent host and a great communicator, who went the extra mile to accomdate all our needs and answer all our questions. The camper was clean, tidy and well equipped. Lee and Billy ( his father in law ) were amazing. The Wee Lomond ( van ) is super comfortable and easy to drive and setup between day time use and night use is very easy. Lee’s communication was amazing all the way through the process of renting. We would recommend you rent his Wee Lomond and go explore beautiful Scotland. August 2023

Genuine Scotish Gentleman! Lee is very friendly and has been very helpful with our tour in Scotland. Not just with the rental but with other useful annectodes. There was a minor malfunction before receiving the van. He was kind enough to inform us a week ahead because he knew we were coming from Asia and didn’t want to upset our plans – gave us the option to cancel and book another van. Given our previous friendly interactions, I was adamant that we rent his van and asked that he take 2 days to confirm whether it would be motorable before cancelling – it was fixed and motorable in time. The hand over was smooth and swift. We were delayed coming into Glasgow from London but he was patient and accommodating. Then we drove to Inverbeg and drove to Doune to find a nice quiet spot by a river in the hills for the night. There we had trouble getting the swivel chair to work and Lee was quick to respond to my messages with clear instructions to fulfill our expectations. Along the entier 5 day trip I was asking him various questions and he was always quick to respond. The van was amazing. Handled very well on the narrow Scotish A-type roads. We cooked all our breakfast and dinner meals on the in-built stove (there’s an additional outdoor stove too). Extra water containers, ample cutlery and kitchen ware, camping table with two chairs, linnen and air-pillows were all put to good use. It was a relief to have a full tank of cooking gas and a spare at no cost; which most others don’t offer. There was coffee, tee, sugar, and cleaning material and liquids, which we didn’t need to buy. We drove all the way to Applecross, over the pass, and filled the had to fill the tank only once. I did damage his spoiler but we amacably settled the payment. Lee was a gentleman in handling the situation and gave me plenty of options to resolve it. In return I also provided several feedback that would help improve the useabilty of the van amneties for future travellers. I strongly recommend anyone to rent his van! August 2023

Wonderful experience with Wee Lomond. Excellent equipment, excellent driving, ideal van for the single tracks, parking and overnight camping in the wild. Lee is a great owner, took all the time necessary to show the van and its features and was available for support all through the journey, not to mention his cheerfulness and sense of humour.
