'Jacob The Vee Dub' was born in 2018 (T6) and was professionally converted into a high spec KOMBI van by Danbury's mechanic in 2022.
Jacob lives in a fantastically convenient location for pickups. Only a few minutes from both the M4 & M5. You'll be on the road for your trip in no time upon collection!

Our house rules are simple, the most important one is that you have a fantastic time!
- Please treat the van as if it is your own
- Van to be returned with full tank of Diesel to be filled at local garage.
- Give the interior a wipe down on return.
- No smoking or vaping inside the van.
Drop off and collection times can be flexible, but please contact beforehand to discuss this further & organise.

Fab time out in Jacob.
The van looks great and very comfortable to drive, and sleep in. No issues whatsoever.
The blackout curtains were very helpful for a little afternoon siesta.
Would recommend and hire again from Sam who's a great friendly guy and always there to help if you need him...

We took this VW from Gloucestershire all the way to Scotland’s NorthCoast500 and back. No issues…
On a 7pm collection we noticed a defective tyre which meant we potentially couldn’t take it but Sam got this corrected by a call out, the fitter came and replacd st my house as we was leaving very early am the next day…. This aside
The van was as described and Sam was very accommodating with having the van ready for us prior to collection.
He was also Very helpful in sorting additional mileage as we needed over 1500 miles to be included.
We experienced Fast communication and answered all our questions we thrown at him.
Collection and dropping was very good.
Overall a very good first experience with this provider and Sam and his VW (Jacob)
I would recommend and would be sure to use again…. Thank Sam ……
Had a great trip away. Jacab drove very nice, plenty of power and control. The Glawning made the whole experience so easy. Best of all was Sam who was very friendly and accommodating. Good dude to to business with.

My son and I had a fantastic visit to Cornwall in Jacob. We picked the van up from Thornbury near Bristol en-route - a very easy and short detour off the M5. The van was well equipped and the glawning was particularly useful on the wet weekend - giving you a really large living space even with an additional bed set up in there. The van drove really well, was comfortable and easy to manoeuvre down some of Cornwalls's narrower lanes.
Sam, the owner, was kind and helpful - his communication was excellent and prompt. All in all a very successful trip which we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely do again. Many thanks to Sam for the loan of Jacob.
We had a brilliant weekend in the Campervan. Sam had literally thought of everything; lots of equipment for us to use and test in torrential rain! The awning was really spacious - the whole experience was great. Thanks Sam

Jacob was absolutely perfect for a festival with my son. The full width bed was super comfortable, and the van was very quiet and cosy - we slept brilliantly! Having everything provided made it such an easy trip and we really appreciated the welcome pack. Would definitely hire again - thank you, Sam!
