Big Blue – 2 berth Ford campervan from 2013

We would like to keep our van ticking over in the winter and offer other people the chance to use it for adventures!

The van is a partial conversion, we have extra facilities available if you wish, such as: gas stove, table, chairs, plates, cutlery, washing bowl & chemical travel toilet. We’ve always used a portable power bank to charge electricals but we do have a 15m electrical hook up available. Battery powered lighting and lamps available in van. USB/ Bluetooth FM converter, rear view camera as well.

The bed is a self build base with with legs and a futon double bed on top which pulls out. We would show you how to use it. The bed is totally removable if you wish to just use the van as a van or put your own mattress in. Tarpaulin available for side shelter as seen in photos. The double passenger seat is on a swivel base as well so can be turned around. Van has benefited from sound deadening, fully insulated, ply lines and carpeted. Very cosy! We’ve stayed in snowy hills in it and not felt cold!

Van can be locked from the inside and has blackout curtains on side window and cabin. It has an air vent which has 3 manual opening settings with shade and fly net. Lots of storage available under bed and at side. Hooks and nets in places for extra storage!
