Off grid and off the gas Fiat Ducato L2H2

Are you looking for ultimate freedom, being off-grid at the beach, the mountains, a lake or wonderful luxury at a campsite? It is possible with our new Fiat Ducato L2H2 - 2015 (Euro-5), 130 hp, 3 belts, 6 gears, air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth, reversing camera and sensors, converted into a camper. Compact with a length of 5.40 m, it can be parked anywhere and with a headroom of 1.90 m, you never have to open a lifting roof. The interior is incredibly complete!

After living in our first bus, we implemented all our practical improvement wishes in this design, and had everything expertly custom built by Karakter Buscampers. Very easy to use, no hassle with gas bottles, as sustainable as possible on solar energy. Go completely off-grid with 400W solar panels, 200Ah Li battery with Victron 2000W inverter (for 230V on board), always have fresh water with you and don't forget an excellent toilet!

So completely off the gas! And yet you won't be cold this winter. Thanks to the full X-trem insulation and 2kW diesel parking heater, it will be pleasantly warm inside in no time. The curtains and bamboo finish provide privacy and coziness and keep the heat inside. In the summer you can make it nice and cool with the unparalleled Maxxfan de luxe with remote control that dissipates the heat from the bus and draws in cool evening air.

Then the kitchen. A real countertop with a decent sink instead of those standard containers that you can't even wash your hands in. The tap is fed by a submersible pump with 30 liters of clean water, easy to refill from the bus, so there is no risk of freezing. This also applies to the gray water (15 litres), which you can easily empty anywhere.

The 2 induction plates (with power consumption in the display) are removable so you can also cook outside. No CO2 in your bus and no unnecessary moisture from the burned propane. The Victron battery monitor shows how much power you have left in your home. You recharge it with your sunny mood via the solar panels or by driving a little further or ... of course, via "wall power" at a campsite is also possible! And even if you are on the road for a long time, your 90 liter compressor refrigerator with 10 liter freezer will not be empty quickly! Of course, there is more than enough storage space in the (upper) cupboards for your personal belongings and the bus is equipped with pans, plates, cutlery, chairs and everything you need. Duvets and pillows are provided. You bring your own bed and linen.

How do you prefer to sleep? Together or separately? The transverse bed has a length of 1.95m and can be extended from 1 person (0.90m wide) to 2 persons (1.30m wide). A fitting piece of 0.40x1.95m is present as the backrest of the lounge sofa where you can sit, lie down, work, watch a movie or eat opposite each other during the day. The reading lights are dimmable and have a USB connection for your phones. The long lounge sofa (1.87x0.70m) is also a 3rd sleeping place with plenty of storage space underneath, while the small lounge sofa by the sliding door hides a modern Porta Porti. Do you want to bring two bicycles? Rent the handy Thule bicycle carrier (max 2 bicycles).
