Our tiny house on wheels is a Ford Transit Custom Bus (L2H1) that we converted into a cozy camper in 2022.
It has an extra wide lifting roof of 135 x 205 cm on which a comfortable thick mattress fits.
There is a lot of space in the bus due to the separate sleeping and living area. As a result, there is also a lot of storage space both inside and at the back.
The solar panel allows you to travel off-grid for days.
Due to the compact dimensions of the bus (216x220x540 cm, HxWxL incl mirrors) you can also park the camper in the city and parking garages.
LIVING PART
The living area is spacious with a double sofa, a single sofa and the co-driver's seat that you can turn around.
There is an extendable table between the double and single sofa. In addition, there is an extendable table near the co-driver's seat, so that you have an extra workplace here.
Dimmable spots, LED strips, spots and separate rechargeable lights that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The cabinet next to the benches has three large wooden drawers of 40 cm wide and 60 cm deep and a wide upper cabinet of 170 cm wide and 50 cm deep. There is also storage space under the benches. There is also a mobile dry toilet under a bench.
KITCHEN PART
The kitchen has a few cupboards and a cutlery drawer, a small refrigerator, a 2-burner gas stove and a sink with tap. There is a 10 liter tank for waste water and 2 x 13 liter tanks for drinking water. You can reach the tanks from the 2nd sliding door on the driver's side. The gas tank is also on that side. There are two Campingaz tanks (904) so you always have enough with you. You can also use the 2nd gas tank for the outdoor gas burner. The kitchen is also fully equipped with pans, cutlery, crockery, etc
SLEEP PART
The sleeping area is located above the living and kitchen area in the sleeping lifting roof. This is a relatively spacious bed with a high-quality mattress. Because you have a separate sleeping area, you don't have to convert the sitting area into a bed in the evening. Just grab your duvet and pillows and you can sleep.
The sleeping area is 135 x 205 cm with a mattress of 120 x 200 cm. The mattress is 9 cm thick and consists of cold foam with a top mattress. The pop-up sleeping roof has a large viewing window with a blackout cloth at the front. Both sides are equipped with insect screens, blackout cloth and can also be completely opened so that you can sleep almost completely outside.
When you fold up the bed during the day (duvet and pillows can remain in place) you have a headroom in the living area near the front seats of 2.4 m descending to the seating area.
Possibly 1 person can also sleep downstairs on the sofa. By removing the hatch next to the two-seater sofa, you get a sleeping place of 198 cm.
OUTSIDE
The things you need outside are in the storage space behind the tailgate. Here you will find, among other things, the garden chairs, table, parasol, outer cover for the front windows, gas cooking burner for outside, electric hob for outside, small fire bowl with wood, ramps, the 2 connectable cables (15 + 25 m) for mains power and a tool set.
OFF GRID
The camper is completely insulated. You can heat the camper with an electric heater (when there is electricity at the campsite) and a diesel parking heater (when there is no electricity). With the solar panel and battery you have enough electricity for your lighting, devices and refrigerator for a few days without sun and you can camp off-grid.
ROMANCE
Depending on your wishes, we equip the bus free of charge with a romance package consisting of candles, a small burner for romantic dining in the wild or on the beach and a small fire bowl with kindling and wood and a grate for grilling something.
