Dolly – Tough, cozy Campervan Volkswagen Crafter 2p from 2015, self-sufficient

Mirjam and I (JP) would like to share one of our passions with you. Dolly, our self-built camper, takes us/you everywhere. We look for and find the nicest places, also “wild”.

Dolly
We built her based on an extended and raised 2015 Volkswagen Crafter (foil wrapped). The sleeping area is equipped with a comfortable, large (length) bed, 160x200cm, with the garage and technical room underneath. We have already made the bed including pillows for you. It would be nice if you brought Dolly back that the bed had been removed.
In the roof we have made a roof fan with remote control and a folding window to provide cooling and fresh air at night and a view of the stars... (both with insect screens)

Off Grid
You can camp self-sufficiently Off-Grid for 2-3 days (depending on your consumption) using, among other things, the large 200ah lithium household battery. This is recharged by the dynamo while driving and/or by the large solar panels on the roof. It is of course also possible to use available shore power with the supplied plugs/cables and reel. There is a VictronConnect inverter 800w from 12v to 220v for e.g. Nespresso and charging smartphones, IPAD or laptop (max 800 watts),
All consumption and status can be read via the VictronConnect app (app store). You will receive the pairing code from us.

Water
Equipped with a 60ltr clean water tank, 40ltr grey/dirty water tank. There is also a 5 liter boiler built in. You can shower/rinse outside from the garage.

Comfort
Dolly is prepared for all seasons (up to -5 to -10 degrees). Under the passenger seat there is a Webasto diesel parking heater/heater which makes the room nice and warm. You can blind the windows in the cabin in the evening with window insulation. Suitable for both warm and cool periods. The back and side are equipped with mosquito nets with magnetic closure. For emergencies :) there is a Porta Potti toilet available.

kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with several drawers (lockable while driving) and base cabinets with shelves. Of course, there is plenty of cooking utensils and other accessories such as a collapsible bucket, bowl and drainer. You can also make delicious coffee with a small Nespresso machine (bring cups). If you want to simmer traditionally, there is a 2-person Mocha espresso pot.

To cook
You cook on a 2-burner gas hob. An LPG gas tank is mounted under the car for this purpose. Supplied fully and will last for many cooking sessions. Please return full. No BBQ included due to open fire regulations in most countries.

Misuse
It is possible to carry 2 bicycles (max 20kg pst) on the bicycle carrier. Make sure you have good locks yourself. Steps are possible. also useful. (Electric bicycles are generally too heavy)

Hi-Fi/Navi
There is an Alpine DAB radio built-in with Apple/Android CarPlay for your favorite navi app, Spotify, reversing camera, etc.

To leave, all you need to do is pack clothes, towels, toiletries, groceries and “holiday spirit”. There is plenty of cupboard space to store everything.

We would love it if you enjoyed Dolly as much as we do/have done time and time again. The fun starts when you leave until the moment you return.
