Nice classic/retro integral camper for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children).
Complete with camping equipment (chairs, table, BBQ, laundry rack, kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery, etc…)
The camper is a bit older, but has a pleasant layout with a nice fixed bed (140x200) in the back.
So no hassle with converting tables and benches if there are only two of you. But even with four people, it is no problem to lower the bed above the cabin (140x200). The rear sleeping area can be closed off with a sliding door.
In addition to the sleeping area, there is the bathroom with toilet and spacious wardrobe.
The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove covered by a glass plate, a refrigerator (gas or 220v) and a sink. There is a gas boiler, so hot water is also available.
The camper has many cupboards and storage space. Under the bed is a large space that is partly accessible from the inside and partly from the outside.
The beds have clean moltons. You can provide your own bed linen or rent it. For an additional €10 per person you can also rent duvets (1x2p and 2x1p), pillows and covers.
All windows and skylights are equipped with blackout and a mosquito net. And outside there is an awning of 3.40m wide.
We have installed a DAB+ radio with USB and Bluetooth option, so you can enjoy your favorite music on the go.
And to enhance the retro feeling, there is an authentic reversing camera with a black/white image and a CRT screen. But you also have a reasonable view outside through the rear window via the interior mirror. That makes it a little more pleasant in traffic.
Due to the compact dimensions (5.9m long and 2.8m high), in many cases you pay the normal passenger car rate for toll roads, bridges and ferry services. You sometimes have to dismantle the bicycle carrier (2 minutes of work) because with the bicycle carrier it is just over 6 meters long (6.3m). It depends a bit on how it is measured.
NB!
- In high season the camper can only be booked per week. Outside the high season the minimum rental period is 2 days.
- The camper is quite compact, and therefore less suitable for a longer period of time for 4 adults. It is possible, but it is on the tight side.
- This camper does not have power steering. This makes steering at low speeds a bit harder than you might be used to.
- Because it is an older diesel, you cannot enter environmental zones of (inner) cities with this camper. But inner cities are not very pleasant to navigate your camper through anyway. For a city visit, it is advisable to park the camper at a P+R and continue by public transport. That saves a lot of (parking) stress
- This camper does not have the engine power of a modern camper, but with a cruising speed of 90 km/h it is easy to drive and the consumption remains within limits (approx. 1 in 10). Also take into account the maximum distance you can travel in one day.
- The camper is not suitable for drivers under 1.65m. If you are smaller, you will have difficulty reaching the pedals.
- The bicycle carrier is suitable for a maximum of 50kg. With two electric bicycles you can quickly overcome this. In addition, the carrier is quite high, so it will be more difficult to put a heavy bicycle on it.
- Final cleaning is included, but we do expect the toilet cassette and waste water tank to be emptied and rinsed before returning.
- The belts on the bench are lap belts. These are generally not suitable for a high chair or booster seat. Only the two front seats have 3-point belts.
- There are no winter tires and snow chains are not available. The camper is not suitable for winter sports, also due to its limited power
