From me you can rent a self-sufficient, fairly new campervan, which provided me with excellent supplies for months in Italy during the winter.

It is a 6m Fiat Ducato built in 2021 with around 21,000 kilometers and its length means it can be driven well on small roads in Italy or in the city. There are seat belts for 4 people.

The van is self-sufficient. A single person has to fill up with fresh water (100l) and dispose of the grey water (90l) every 5-6 days. With 200Ah LiPo batteries and a solar panel on the roof, there is no power outage. With shore power, there are 3 individual 230V sockets in the interior.

Heating is done with diesel, the refrigerator (with small freezer compartment) can be operated with propane gas or shore power. I put a small manual in the car with the things you need to know on a daily basis (e.g. how to quickly heat up the dishwater)

The transverse bed in the rear measures 185x140 cm, the dinette can be converted into a third bed. Both front seats can be rotated. The table of the dinette (the seating area) can also be hooked onto the outside so that you can sit under the awning.

The vehicle has cruise control, a 140 HP diesel engine and a rear view camera and can be driven with a class B driver's license at a maximum weight of 3500 kg. There is an electric step for entry. There are two roof hatches, 2 side windows at the front, 1 bathroom window and 3 opening windows at the back. All windows have fly nets.

To ensure a feeling of security, all doors in the interior are fitted with Camperprotekt mechanical locks (chains and bolts) and the central locking system will soon be fitted with prick stop plates.

I take out insurance for the rental. A vignette for the Swiss motorway for 2024 is stuck on the window. By arrangement, I can add a 5G unlimited internet router, a 12V charging cable adapter for many notebook plugs and a 700Wh power bank for even more self-sufficiency.

The shower is not usable and I do not rent to families with small children. I realize that this is a shame for some potential buyers, but I want to preserve the value of the upholstery and mattresses.

2 folding chairs and all the equipment for filling up with water and electricity are included in the rental, as is a full propane gas bottle. The diesel tank is handed over full and returned full.
