Our Benimar Dicar Cocoon 483 (built in 2019, but still as new) is the ideal compact mobile home to go on an adventure in comfort with family, friends or just the two of you. With a length of only 6599 + 400 or 900 mm (with folded or unfolded bicycle rack) and a width of 2313 mm you can maneuver or park almost anywhere and with a height of 2890 mm and maximum weight of 3500 kg over and under virtually all bridges, tunnels and roads.
We chose this model because of the luxury of a large open seating area, transformable into a large sleeping place instead of having to carry a separate bedroom (lift-down bed above table). This means you also sleep in a spacious, airy room at night. This is one of the few campers with a rear window that gives you the feeling of driving a normal car.

Sleeping area:

Garage:
There is access to the garage and upper cupboard via 2 access doors. In addition to our camping set (dining table and aperitif table, 2 camping folding chairs and 2 luxury sun loungers with footrest, 20 m extension cord and 10 m water hose), you can store a lot of luggage here.
Bicycle stand:
A Thule bicycle rack is mounted at the rear for a maximum of 3 bicycles with a total weight of 60 kg! Any bicycle batteries must be transported in the vehicle and can also be charged during the ride.
Sun canopy:
Our mobile home is also equipped with a Thule retractable awning and the necessary materials to fix it in the ground.
Security:
In addition to the normal Ford car alarm, the vehicle has additionally mounted special security locks on all access doors and garage hatches. There is also a fire alarm and a 3-gas alarm device that detects sleeping gases, carbon monoxide and propane/butane gases.
Equalization and stabilization:
