About this campsite
the higher - category campsite with the longes tradition in the Soča valley can accomodate up to 200 guests. Its location under mountain Krn offers numerous possibilities for sports activities - in the mountain, in the sky or in the water - therefore it is very popular among hikers and mountaineers, paragliders and hanggliders, kayakers and rafters, bikers and fishermen.
About the area
Kamp Koren is situated in the picturesque landscape by the Isonzo river, only 200 meters from the Napoleon's bridge, by the road to Dreznica. In the vicinity of the campsite you will be fascinated by the most interesting spots in the Isonzo valley - the emerald-green Isonzo river canyon, waterfalls of the Kozjak stream, sandbanks of theIsonzo and the restored front-line from World War I.

Getting there
-from Villach (Austria) take the road to Udine (Italia) till Tarvisio. Go over the pass Predel (Slovenia) till you arrive to Bovec and then to Kobarid. Special road for very long caravans: Villach, Udine, Cividale, enter Slovenia (Robic) and go to Kobarid
- from Ljubljana (Slovenia) take the highway to Logatec, then take the regional road to Idrija and from there drive to Tolmin and Kobarid (120 km)
- from Ljubljana (Slovenia) take the highway to Razdrto and Nova Gorica, from there take the road to Tolmin and Kobarid (157 km)
Booking conditions
Camp rules
We would ask you in your own interest and that of all guests to heed the following rules:
1. The Camp Koren is open from 1st January – 31st December
2. Reception is open from od 8:00 - 22:00 (during 1.6. - 31.8.) or 14:00 - 22:00 (in other periods).
3. Upon arrival at the camp please register at the reception desk and hand over your passport. Documents may be reclaimed after the registation.
4. The number you receive upon registration must be visibly placed on your tent or caravan.
5. The exit barrier to the camp is open from 6:00 - 23:00 hours.
6. Complete quiet must be observed in the camp from 24:00- 6:00 hours.
7. Your account should be settled before departure.
8. The campsite includes bar, grocery shop, telephone, WiFi, multiple toilet facilities, warm showers, electricity sockets (220V), washing and drying machine, roasting spits, children's playground, climbing tower, adventure park, sandy volleyball playground, bowling alley, rent a bike, table tennis, excursions in Posočje and Slovenia, sauna, salt room, conference room, gym.
9. The management cannot be responsible for any money, valuable papers or objects of worth kept in your tent or car.
10. Please take any found article to the reception.
11. We would especially ask to respect the following: to keep order and cleanliness, that radios and musical instruments do not intrude upon your neighbours and the general peace of the camp, that parents accompany children to the toilet facilities, in the interest of further cleanliness.
12. In the camp is forbidden: light open fires, except on the marked places, drive more than 10 km per hour, bring in articles of an explosive or inflammable nature, dig ditches arround tents other than in exceptional circumstances.
13. Please keep your dog on a leash and clean up after him in the campground.
14. Thank you for being considerate of other campers.

House rules of the Apartment village in Camp Koren Kobarid
1. Guests agree to consider the house rules, when taking over the chalet.
2. Registration is possible after 2 pm.
3. Guests are kindly asked to register at the reception with a document (passport, identity card,..)
4. Guests get the key of the chalet and the gate together with the information about the services included in the price (information about the campsite and the surrounding, activities,…) and supplements (rent a bike, climbing wall, washing and drying machine, mobile phone, guided tours, fishing and kayaking permits, …)
5. The instructions for using the technical appliances available in the chalet are in the lower drawer of sideboard.
6. Pets are welcome in the chalets No. 3 and 6 of the apartment village of Kamp Koren. They are allowed to enter the ground floor. Dogs are only allowed to lie in bed for dogs, not on the couch! Pets have to be on a lead outside the chalets and owners are obliged to clean after them.
7. Slippers are obligatory to use on the wooden floor in the chalet.
8. The additional bed linen is inside the couch. For changing bed linen and towels, please ask at the reception.
9. Smoking is not allowed inside the chalets.
10. It is not allowed to bring inflammable and explosive things and substances with strong or unpleasant smell into the chalet.
11. Guests can save their valuable things in the safe at the reception.
12. Guests are kindly asked to pay for the staying, return the keys of the gate and the chalet and check out before 10am on the day of their departure.
13. Guests are responsible for the damage caused by their own guilt. The damage is evaluated in the presence of the owner or the campsite caretaker.
14. If the guest and the campsite owner cannot agree on the amount of damage, the local court will evaluate and decide about it.

Those of you who love spending your holidays in the tents will definitely enjoy themselves in Zone D, since there are several terraces available there and the sites are not accessible by car. The terraces are of various sizes, some of them are large enough for only one tent. In the immediate vicinity of the terraces, there is a special covered picnic spot where you are allowed to light a campfire. In the immediate vicinity of Zone D, there is also a parking lot.
Zones A, B and C are more suitable for larger tents, and there you can also find space for smaller tents, that is under the edge of the slope in the upper part of Zone C. Here, there are also spots intended for barbecues and campfires.
Zone E also has its special charm because it is entirely in the forest and its upper part borders on a grassy clearing. It is intended for tents as well as campers and caravans. There are electric hook-up points and campfire spots available there.

Guests who arrive to the campsite by a camper or caravan may use campsites in Zones A, B and C. Six sites in Zone C provide full utility services; they have electric hook-ups as well as drainage and water hook-ups. In the campground, in the sanitary facilities by the reception, there is a chemical toilet, and in Zone D, by the climbing wall, there is an area for fresh water inlet and waste water outlet.
You can also park your camper or caravan in Zone E, which is in the forest and its upper part borders on a grassy clearing. There are electric hook-up points, sanitary facilities and campfire spots available.

If you prefer glamping, you can stay in the glamorous wooden house, LILIJA, for two people. Here you will find a double bed, shower, toilet and a small equipped kitchen. Its innovative design makes it a very functional space.
A special charm is the panoramic glass wall through which you have a direct view of the outside directly from your bed. The house is insulated and heated, built of natural materials, and suitable for rent in all seasons.
Attached is a large wonderful wooden terrace where you can relax.

For all of you who prefer a solid roof over your head we designed six wooden eco chalets in 2009. The beautiful wooden houses on the terraces just a few steps away from the reception offer a luxurious stay on two levels with 100 square meters in total size. Each chalet accepts up to 6 persons (4 + 2), and in two of the chalets, pets are allowed.
On ground level, there are an entrance hall, which is suitable for storing sport equipment, a large living room with a couch (extra bed for two persons), a TV-set, a dining corner and a handy kitchen with all the necessary equipment and a fridge. On ground level, there is also a bathroom with a shower. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms, in each there are two very comfortable beds (2.10 m in length), which can be transformed into a double bed. In the chalets, there is free internet wireless connection available.
A stay in eco chalets is especially comfortable due to the warmth of the wood, which always creates the optimal climate in the rooms, since the wood takes the excess moisture from the air or emits it, when the air in the room is too dry. The wooden walls are coated only with oil, and the floor in the rooms is waxed and coated with linseed oil, which enables the wood to preserve all its natural power. Around the chalets, there are flower beds and lawns, which can be accessed via stone paths. Holidays in these eco chalets present a wonderful mixture of comfort and a close connection to nature.
