We offer 24 spacious, grassy camping pitches designed for those who appreciate space and tranquility, 8 Bell Tents, and 3 gites.

Tents & Campervans: Our pitches are ideal for tents and campervans up to 6m.

Caravans: Suitable for caravans up to 6m (including the drawbar).

New for 2026: We have added 3 hard-standing pitches, specifically designed for campervans and caravans to provide a solid, level base in all weather and all seasons.

Power & Water: Each pitch has access to a power connection, with water points conveniently located throughout the site.

Stay Connected: Free WiFi is available in the courtyard area for your convenience.

Dog Friendly: We welcome up to two friendly dogs per pitch. To ensure a peaceful environment for all our guests (and the local wildlife), we kindly ask that dogs remain on a leash while on the grounds.

Our goal is to offer you a peaceful and rejuvenating holiday in this stunning natural setting. We believe in the beauty of simple living: good food, fresh air, and the space to breathe.

The Restaurant & Courtyard

What was once a humble cowshed and hayloft is now the heart of our estate. Our Restaurant is a warm, welcoming space where guests gather to enjoy a meal, a fresh cup of coffee, or an ice cream.

Summer Season: The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner during the summer months.

Off-Season: While the daily restaurant is closed, we keep the community spirit alive by hosting a Pizza Night on the last Saturday of every month.

Just outside is our Courtyard, a tranquil space surrounded by the historic stone walls of the main house and gîtes. Scented with roses and lavender, it is the perfect spot to unwind or borrow a book from our book exchange. Free WiFi is also accessible here. While you're relaxing, keep an eye out for the little owls and kestrels that nest nearby!

Wellness & Friluftsliv

To help you truly disconnect and embrace the outdoors, we offer dedicated wellness spaces:

The Spa Area: For ultimate relaxation, you can rent our private spa. It features a hot tub and sauna with spectacular views overlooking the rolling hills of the Corrèze.

Yoga in Nature: We believe in moving with the landscape. Join us on our outdoor yoga platform tucked away in the campsite. We offer regular classes during the low season on Thursday evenings, with morning sessions available throughout the summer months (an extra fee applies).

Dining at Le Mas

We take the hassle out of cooking so you can enjoy your time in the sun:

Summer Highlights: Enjoy our Pizza Nights every Friday and Saturday, or join fellow travellers for our Table d’hôte communal dinners on Mondays and Wednesdays. We also have a snack menu available daily for lunch and for dinner on Thursdays and Sundays. Stay tuned for what we come up with for Tuesdays! For breakfast, we provide baked goods for pickup at 09:00. Please order on the form in the bar the day before.

Social Grilling: A shared BBQ area is available year-round for those who enjoy a rustic outdoor cookout.

Sanitary Facilities

Our facilities are housed in charming converted buildings and include:

Cleaning & Comfort: 4 washbasins, 4 spacious showers, 1 urinal, and 3 toilets.

Practical Needs: 4 dishwashing stations are available for guest use.

Refrigerators & Laundry: Both refrigerators and a washing machine (detergent included) are available for an additional fee.

Eco-Friendly Disposal: We provide a designated area for emptying non-chemical/biodegradable toilets. For chemical tanks, a disposal facility is conveniently located in nearby Ayen.

The Swimming Pool

Our 12m x 6m saltwater pool offers a refreshing, eco-friendly swimming experience. With a max depth of 1.4m and a breathtaking view of the countryside, it’s the perfect place to soak in the silence of the valley.

On the Doorstep: Hiking & Nature
Direct Trails: Several spectacular hiking routes start right from the campsite. We can provide you with maps to discover the rolling hills, lush forests, and walnut groves that define our landscape.

Saint-Robert: A peaceful 45-minute walk (or 5-minute drive) takes you to Saint-Robert, officially one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. This medieval gem is filled with Romanesque architecture and sweeping valley views.
 

 
Local Flavors: Markets & Fine Dining
Ayen Producers’ Market: Every Thursday evening in July and August, the village of Ayen hosts its famous "Marché des Producteurs." Pick out fresh local produce and wine directly from the farmers, then enjoy the communal BBQs and live music. It is the highlight of the summer!

Monsieur Robert (Saint-Robert): We are incredibly lucky to have this newly opened restaurant in our neighbouring village. Recently recognised by the Michelin Guide, it offers a refined taste of the region in a beautiful setting. A must-visit for food lovers. Don't forget to book ahead!

Village Life: The nearby village of Ayen offers all the essentials, including a supermarket, pharmacy, and a beautiful lookout point for an evening stroll. 
 

 
Exploring the Region: Culture & History
Lascaux & Montignac (35 mins): Explore the world-famous prehistoric cave paintings at the Lascaux International Centre.

Sarlat-la-Canéda (55 mins): A stunning medieval town famous for its cobbled streets and its legendary Saturday market.

Active Adventures: The surrounding area is perfect for canoeing on the Vézère River, horse riding at the Pompadour National Stud, or visiting the many local "Plus Beaux Villages" like Collonges-la-Rouge.

General Terms and Conditions

When making a reservation, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted our general terms and conditions.

House rules

- Please be considerate of your fellow holidaymakers: treat each other with respect, do not cause noise pollution and keep the communal facilities tidy.

- The campsite is quiet from 23:00 – 08:00.

- Car-free camping. Cars are only allowed at the camping spot upon arrival and departure.

- Visitors must be registered at the reception.

- Le Mas d'Ayen has the right to refuse or remove guests at any time if they violate these rules according to our standards and values.

Arrival / Departure

1. Arrival in both gites is after 17:00. Earlier arrival is unfortunately not possible due to cleaning.

2. Arrival at the campsite is after 15:00. The guests who are on the spot before you must also have the opportunity to pack and leave.

3. Departure from the camping pitches and gîtes is noon.

Reservation

Reservations by email always have priority.

When making a reservation, we ask you to provide the names and ages (at the time of your holiday) of all fellow travellers.

The reservation is final when the deposit of 30% of the total accommodation costs has been received by us within two weeks of booking.

The remainder of the accommodation costs must be paid to us no later than 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be made in writing by email.

-In case of cancellation earlier than 3 months before the arrival date, the tenant will receive a refund of his 30% deposit.

- In case of cancellation within three months before the arrival date, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.

- In case of cancellation of a rental property within one month of the arrival date, the full payment will not be refunded

-No compensation will be paid in the event of force majeure (something that could not have been foreseen or was beyond the control of the landlords).
-In case of early departure, unused nights will not be refunded.

We recommend that you arrange your own cancellation insurance.

Rental conditions for Gîtes

Furniture & Decorations: Furniture, lamps, and decorations must not be moved. For example, moving a bed or lamp from one room to another is not allowed. Please respect the arrangement as it is for the comfort and safety of all guests.

Care & Respect: The tenant agrees to occupy the rented property with the utmost care, keeping in mind the peaceful and tranquil nature of the surroundings. Please ensure you respect the space and consider the needs of other guests.

Behaviour & Conduct: If the tenant fails to behave as a responsible guest, cause any nuisance, or disrupts the peaceful environment, they may be asked to vacate the premises immediately. In such cases, the rental agreement will be considered terminated by operation of law, and no reimbursement of the rental sum will be provided.

Cleaning costs

We kindly ask that you leave the gîtes tidy and clean before your departure, which includes clearing rubbish, doing the dishes, cleaning the cooker, and microwave/oven, and leaving the fridge empty and clean. Please also ensure the toilet and sink are clean, and place all used bed linens and towels in the laundry hamper.

Cleaning fees are included in the price, but if the gîte is left in an unusually messy condition, a cleaning charge of €75.00 will apply. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Deposit

A deposit of €200.00 is required for the gîtes, which can be paid with your final instalment or in cash upon arrival. After your stay, we will inspect the gîte, and if no damage is found, the deposit will be refunded to you within two weeks.

Please note that guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay, including by fellow travellers. If the deposit does not cover the full cost of any damages, we kindly ask that the additional amount be paid.

Liability of the landlord

Your stay and the use of the facilities at Le Mas d'Ayen are at your own risk, and we kindly ask that you take care during your time with us. While we strive to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible, we cannot accept responsibility for any accidents, damage, or inconveniences that may arise on the estate.

If maintenance is needed, we reserve the right to enter the property to carry out the necessary work. We will do our best to minimize any disruptions, especially when it comes to maintaining the swimming pool and grounds.
