GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 2026
Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) define the rights and obligations of the Client and Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage in connection with the reservation and performance of a tourist stay within the establishment. They are communicated to the Client prior to any reservation and are available on the campsite’s website.Photographs, plans, illustrations and descriptions published online, on commercial media or on partner platforms are for information purposes only and have no contractual value. Only the information contained in the booking confirmation and/or the stay contract shall be binding.

ARTICLE 2 – SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These GTCS apply, without restriction or reservation, to all reservations of tourist stays (rental accommodations, touring pitches) and ancillary services offered by Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage for the 2026 season, made online, by telephone, email or on site.
They apply exclusively to non-professional customers (consumers) within the meaning of French consumer law.
Annual or long-term rental contracts for residential plots are subject to separate conditions and are not governed by these GTCS.

ARTICLE 3 – DEFINITIONS
“Campsite”: Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage.
“Client”: any adult natural person booking a stay for non-professional tourist purposes.
“Stay”: any accommodation service for fixed dates.
“Ancillary services”: optional services (e.g. bicycle rental, linen, early arrival, late departure).

ARTICLE 4 – PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION AND ACCEPTANCE
The Client acknowledges having read, prior to booking, the essential characteristics of the services, prices, possible additional costs and these GTCS.
Any reservation implies full acceptance of these GTCS and the internal regulations of Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage.

ARTICLE 5 – RESERVATION – FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT
Reservations may be made online, by phone, email or on site. The campsite reserves the right to accept or refuse any reservation request depending on availability or circumstances likely to affect the proper execution of the stay.
The reservation becomes final after written confirmation by the campsite and receipt of the deposit.
All reservations are personal, nominative, non-transferable and may not be sublet without prior written consent.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

ARTICLE 6 – GROUP BOOKINGS
Any multiple booking resembling a group booking must be submitted for prior approval. The campsite reserves the right to apply specific conditions or to refuse the booking.

ARTICLE 7 – PRICES – TOURIST TAX – PRICING
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included, excluding tourist tax and optional services.
Dynamic pricing applies. The price confirmed at the time of booking remains guaranteed.
Tourist tax: €0.50 per night per adult (18+), subject to change by the local authority.

ARTICLE 8 – PAYMENT TERMS
Deposit: 30% of the total stay amount at booking.
Balance: payable no later than 30 days before arrival.
For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, full payment is required immediately.
Accepted payment methods: credit card, bank transfer, cash (within legal limits), ANCV holiday vouchers and connected holiday vouchers.

ARTICLE 9 – NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, accommodation services provided on specific dates are not subject to the 14-day withdrawal period.

ARTICLE 10 – MODIFICATION OF THE STAY
Any modification request must be made in writing and is subject to availability and current pricing.
A reduction in stay duration is treated as a partial cancellation.

ARTICLE 11 – CANCELLATION – INTERRUPTION – NO-SHOW
Without cancellation insurance:
• More than 31 days before arrival: deposit retained.
• 30 to 15 days before arrival: 50% of the stay retained.
• Less than 15 days before arrival: no refund.
With cancellation insurance: according to the insurance contract.
Late arrival, early departure or no-show shall not give rise to any refund.

ARTICLE 12 – ARRIVAL – DEPARTURE – KEYS
Rental accommodations: arrival from 4:00 pm – departure before 10:00 am.
Cabanétap’: arrival from 3:00 pm – departure before 11:00 am.

ARTICLE 13 – TIME OPTIONS
Subject to availability:
Early arrival (mobile home): from 2:00 pm – €20 incl. VAT
Late departure (mobile home): until 12:00 pm – €20 incl. VAT

ARTICLE 14 – SECURITY DEPOSIT
Security deposit required upon arrival by bank pre-authorisation:
• Mobile home: €300
• Cabanétap’: €100
The deposit covers cleaning, damage, loss, disturbances and equipment provided.

ARTICLE 15 – CLEANING – INVENTORY – DAMAGE
Accommodation must be returned clean.
A cleaning fee of €90 incl. VAT may be charged.
Any missing or damaged items will be invoiced at replacement cost.

ARTICLE 16 – VISITORS – CAPACITY – RULES
Only registered persons may stay. Maximum capacity must be respected.
Visitors must report to reception and remain under the Client’s responsibility.

ARTICLE 17 – PETS
Pets under 10 kg are allowed in authorised mobile homes only, one per accommodation, with supplement.
Pets are prohibited in Cabanétap’.

ARTICLE 18 – ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Charging electric or hybrid vehicles on campsite installations is strictly prohibited.
Any breach will result in a €150 incl. VAT charge deducted from the deposit.

ARTICLE 19 – BICYCLE AND EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Subject to availability and specific contract.
The Client is fully responsible for rented equipment.

ARTICLE 20 – LIABILITY – INSURANCE
The Client must hold civil liability insurance.
Camping La Forêt – Stella-Plage shall not be liable for information or visuals provided by partners or third parties, nor for theft, fire, weather events, damage or accidents not attributable to the campsite.

ARTICLE 21 – POLICE REGISTRATION FORM (FOREIGN GUESTS)
In accordance with Articles R.814-1 to R.814-3 of the French Immigration Code, foreign guests may be required to complete a police registration form upon arrival.

ARTICLE 22 – IMAGE RIGHTS
Guests may be photographed or filmed in common areas. They may object in writing to any use of their image.

ARTICLE 23 – PERSONAL DATA – CONFIDENTIALITY
Data is processed in accordance with the French Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Guests have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection.

ARTICLE 24 – LOST PROPERTY
Lost items may be returned upon request for a fixed fee (€25 France / €35 Europe).

ARTICLE 25 – FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the French Civil Code, services may be suspended. Guests will be informed within two days.

ARTICLE 26 – INTERNAL RULES – DISTURBANCE – EXCLUSION
Any disruptive behaviour may result in exclusion without refund.

ARTICLE 27 – MEDIATION
In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a free mediation procedure.
Mediator: Société Médiation Professionnelle – Bordeaux.

ARTICLE 28 – APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION
These GTCS are governed by French law.

ARTICLE 29 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All campsite content is protected by intellectual property rights.
