Camping in Vejers for both big and small adventurers!
When you choose Stjerne Camping as your holiday destination, you enter a genuine West Jutland family tradition. Here we don't just take nature seriously - we study it, live in it and look after it. Since 2024 we have even been GREENSTAY certified. The rugged dune landscape, the soft forest floor and the wild North Sea - all that makes a holiday here very special!
With us everyone is welcome - two-legged, four-legged, old camping rats and fresh beginners. We have room for approximately 250 campers, some of whom have established themselves as permanent residents, while others are on the move with a caravan, motorhome or tent. Whether you like grass or prefer solid ground under the wheels, we will find a place that suits you.

Camping by the North Sea
If you are considering camping by the North Sea, Stjerne Camping is the ideal choice. Located in the scenic area of Vejers Beach in the middle of the West Coast between Esbjerg and Hvide Sande, you will find yourself in a peaceful, quiet and child-friendly area, where all the attractions of the West Coast are only a short drive or bike ride away.
In addition to the lovely beach, the nature around Vejers offers a number of unique experiences for the whole family.
Vejers Plantage is one of these areas that offers something completely unique. It is home to the red deer, and you may be lucky enough to see large herds of these majestic animals, both early in the morning and just before dusk. In the autumn you can hear the impressive roar of the red deer in rut, which is an experience that not only fascinates nature lovers.
If you are more interested in bird life, you can go on exciting trips with binoculars to one of the area's many observation towers, for example at Råsø or Filsø.For a more spontaneous experience, even in windy weather, a walk in the fairytale dune forest can be a good idea. Here you can both hunt for atmospheric pictures and find mushrooms and berries for a delicious dish. Another wonderful walk is what we call the Love Path, which is a beautiful deciduous forest area along the Ålestroemmen between Strib Sø and the summer house area.
The nature near Stjerne Camping can be anything from harsh to mild, but it always offers an experience of some great and untouched. Feel free to take your loved ones by the hand and feel the nature together - the experience will last a long time...

In the following you will find useful information related to the use of our online booking. You can read about how we treat your personal information, how you receive your receipt for a purchase and more.
Payment
All prices in the Online Booking are, as it is anywhere else on the site, written in Danish kroner, including VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Payment is made by using one of the accepted debit / credit cards in online booking, including, among others Visa, Mastercard and Diners.
Information on trading on the Internet
Shop safely on the Internet through our online booking system. You, the consumer, are generally insured against any misuse of your credit card online, due to this, you will be fully reimbursed in case of misuse of your credit card via the Internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer to relate to payments online at the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.
Delivery
You will upon booking and payment of a cottage, a rental caravan, a pitch for your own tent, or room for your own caravan, be presented with a contract for the selected area, showing your purchased product. The contract will be sent via e-mail immediately after purchase. If the correct e-mail address is stated by you.
Delivery of the product ordered is due on the day of arrival (and ends on the departure day). Both of these dates are written in the above mentioned contract.
Cancellation and reimbursement
You have the option to cancel your booking the following conditions:
There are a mandatory 14-day right of cancelling when doing online trading. Thus returned the entire amount within the first 14 days, counting from the day of the purchase.
Cancellationinsurance – in case of illness
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. It costs dkr. 200 and covers if you need to cancel due to illness up to 1 day before arrival. If canceled up to 1 day before (before noon. 12:00), the full amount is reimbursed, except for the 200 dkr. That is payment for the insurance.
Reimbursement is only made by submission of documentation for the illness in the form of doctors certificate.
Cancellation without cancellation insurance
Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival – will get the full amount except an administration fee of dkr. 500. Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival – will get 50% of the amount. Again 500 dkr. Is withdrawn as an administration fee. The reimbursing amount must be minimum 500 kr.
Cancellation after 30 days before arrival - causes no return.
You will be charged a reservation fee of kr. 100 if you wish to book via telephone or email, and a deposit of 500 kr. (The 500 kr converted into adminstration fee if you do not arrive as scheduled.)
Registration of information
Grenaa Strand Camping register your name, your address, your e-mail address and other information submitted in connection with the purchase in our customer management registration. Information is not given to, or shared with a third party, but Grenaa Strand Camping keeps the registration for 5 years.
Grenaa Strand uses server side cookies and a secure connection to create secure the information you provide on this page.
When paying by credit card, registration happens via a secure server where the information is encrypted before being sent over the Internet.
Complaints
If for some reason do not receive your contract which confirms your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the following address, email or call us at the below listed telephone number.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking or the product (stay) must be done within a reasonable time after you discovered the mistake, or should have discovered the mistake by reading through your contract. You can complain in writing, by phone call or in person at the campsite .
When Grenaa Strand Camping receives a complaint about a product, we process the complaint as soon as possible. Grenaa Strand Camping will decide whether the object of complaint is to be refunded, exchanged or whether to compensate by a discount.

At StjerneCamping, you don’t just get a pitch – you get a small piece of West Jutland’s raw nature right up close, all year round. Our sunny pitches are about 10 × 10 metres and are located on either gravel or grass. Green hedges provide shelter between the “star streets” and create both peace and privacy. In the heart of Naturpark Vesterhavet, you wake up to salty air, wind in your hair, and perhaps a red deer stopping by for your morning coffee. Everyone is welcome – young and old, on two legs or four.
The pitches don’t have their own water connection – instead, you’ll find our water points (marked with blue dots on the site map) nearby, easy to reach with a watering can. Electricity can be added (10 A) – remember your approved CEE cable. The sanitary building offers clean facilities: a collective kitchen, lounge, family rooms, an accessible washroom as well as our youngest guests have their own changing room, Wi-Fi is free on the site, and nearby the entrance you can easily dispose of both grey and black water.
At StjerneCamping, there’s space to breathe, lower the shoulders, and enjoy the small moments: morning coffee by the caravan, a walk with your dog in the fenced exercise area, or children’s laughter on the playground – small adventures overall just around the corner until sunset.
This is camping at its best – simple, cozy, and with nature right outside your door.

A cozy base amid the North Sea’s rugged nature – our model 2 cabin is for those who enjoy a bit more space, while keeping things simple and down to earth. Here you stay in the heart of Naturpark Vesterhavet, with beach, forest and heath just around the corner – ready for long walks and small adventures.
Our 23 m² cabin offers a bedroom with a double bed and a living area with sofa bed, dining table and TV – just right for a quiet evening when the west wind picks up outside. There’s a private toilet in the cabin, while the shower is in the nearby service building.
The open kitchen has a hob, fridge, coffee maker and the essentials for simple holiday meals… and if the grill mood strikes, one can be borrowed. Duvets and pillows are provided; bed linen and towels can be brought or rented.
On the covered terrace, it’s easy to slow down – coffee in hand, shoulders relaxed, and nature all around.
Dogs are welcome (just not in beds or on the sofa). Cleaning is done by you; equipment is ready, and a vacuum borrows.

If you’re dreaming of a holiday close to the North Sea where things are simple, cozy and easy to settle in, our compact model 3 cabin is a great choice. Set nearby dunes, forest and the sea at StjerneCamping, this is where the wind sets the pace and calm comes naturally. Perfect for families or friends who enjoy time together – with space to sneak off for a quiet moment, too.
Inside are 25 well-used m² with two bedrooms: one double bed and one bunk bed. The living area has a dining space, sofa and TV – ready for board games and slow evenings after a day of fresh air. The kitchen is compact but has what you need: hob, fridge, coffee maker, cookware and tableware… and yes, a grill can be borrowed. There’re electric heating and a private bathroom with shower and toilet – everything in one place. Duvets and pillows are provided; bed linen and towels can be brought or rented.
The new terrace (2026) quickly becomes a favorite – for morning coffee, dinner or just a quiet moment while the trees gently whisper in the wind. Dogs are welcome (just not on the furniture). Final cleaning is up to you; a vacuum borrows.

If you’d like a touch of comfort – while still keeping sand between your toes and the North Sea close by – our model 4 cabin is a great choice. Built in 2024, it blends modern ease with that laid-back, west coast feeling where calm comes almost automatically.
The 36 m² cabin has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two singles – plus a living area with sofa bed and dining space for shared meals and long, easy evenings.
There’s a private bathroom with shower and toilet, and an open kitchen with stove, fridge, coffee maker and all the basics… ready for anything from quick breakfasts to slow holiday dinners (and yes, a grill can be borrowed). Duvets and pillows are provided; bed linen and towels can be brought or rented.
The large terrace quickly becomes your favorite spot – morning coffee in the sun, dinner in the evening light, or just a quiet moment as the day settles.

Tucked into raw dune landscape and close to the roaring North Sea, our small, cozy cabin is for those craving calm, salt in the air, and fewer notifications. It’s simple, warm and easy to settle into – perfect for hikers, nature lovers or couples who just want a bit of quiet (the good kind).
StjerneCampings classic one-room model 1 cabin is 10 m² (no running water) with a double bed and a small dining nook. There’s electric heating and a compact kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker and the basics – enough for morning coffee and a simple dinner… and psst, a grill can be borrowed for the rest. Duvets and pillows are ready; bed linen and towels can be brought or rented at reception.
Kitchen, shower and toilet are right next door in the service building – easy and fuss-free. The small terrace invites you to linger: coffee in hand, shoulders down, and a sky slowly filling with stars.
