Notre expérience avec le van Ruby Red a été excellente ! Passée la prise en main de ce long véhicule avec une boite de vitesse d'un ancien temps, nous avons adoré parcourir l'Ecosse avec Ruby. Tout est vraiment confortable : les sièges faits dans une anciens tonneaux de whisky et surtout le lit. Petit bémol concernant la récupération des eaux grises puisqu'elle est inexistante .. je ne suis pas certaine que ça soit vraiment autorisé. September 2026

Gretna est un bon vieux fourgon bien solide et équipé de manière très fonctionnelle… Nous avons voyagé 14 jours à 4 personnes ( moi et mes 3 grands ados) sur 1500 km … il faut être organisé… mais la configuration fonctionne bien Le propriétaire est simple, gentil, efficace et réactif au besoin. Je valide et conseille . September 2026

Graeme was extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of. We had a great time in Ruby Red, which included everything we needed such as bedding, towels, cooking items and chairs. She was easy to drive and took us in lots of different directions around Scotland. We would absolutely recommend Graeme and Ruby and we hope to hire again! July 2026

My 3 girlfriends and I had the most amazing days exploring the Highlands with Gretna Green as our home and vehicle! I totally recommend hiring this van, it comes with everything you might need in the daily basis, it is possible to stand up inside, it felt just right for 4 adults that are mainly eating and sleeping in it. The owner, Graeme, was also super nice and helpful. We were referring to Gretna as "a van that welcomes and hugs you" . June 2026

Les contacts avec Graeme ont toujours été faciles, rapides et sympathiques. Rubis est un vieux monsieur qui a une boîte à vitesses difficile et des amortisseurs usés mais il nous a amené sur 2000km à travers les Highlands sans souci. Son meilleur atout: le confort … et l’autonomie (eau, électricité, toilettes). June 2026

This has been a wonderful family road trip thanks to Graeme. He s a genuine good person. The van was exactly what we needed for 4 personnes. We drove miles through the Highlands safely. We do recommend Graeme and Gretna green 👍🥰. June 2026

Greame and Ruby have both treated us very well during our journey through the Highlands. Ruby has a lot of power and can travel on any road or hill. Wherever we wanted to go we knew we could get there. It's a charming motorhome with wooden furniture. All handmade by Greame himself. The bed is comfortable and warm enough in the Highlands. It's been a blast to travel with Ruby and I would recommend it to anyone. May 2026

Graeme is a friendly enough, and I have no doubt he means well. Unfortunately, our experience was not good due to the condition of the vehicle. The van was handed over with a known faulty handbrake, a dashboard warning light came on during the trip, which Graeme advised us to ignore. By day 2, we had to take it to a mechanic due to a concerning scraping noise, and they confirmed the van couldn't continue - and in fact would be dangerous to do so. We were stranded on the Isle of Skye with our dog and all our belongings. Graeme offered a full refund, which was eventually honoured through Goboony's dispute process. However contrary to what Graeme suggested, there was no further cover beyond this - and we ended up signficiantly out of pocket and a holiday cut short as we found our own way home. The vans just aren't maintained in good enough condition to be rented. I'd encourage anyone renting from him to thoroughly inspect the vehicle at collection and to be aware that if something goes wrong, there isn't really any Goboony support. May 2026
