Lovely family run campsite in the wilds of Piedmont
Liked: Large fully serviced pitches with 16A power, campsite sustainability, fabulous 25m swimming pool, immaculate sanitary facilities, great food (limited menu) and extensive wine list drawn from the local vineyards.
Could be better: Area surrounding the swimming pool.

Lovely Campsite In A Rural Setting
Liked: A very well run campsite with good facilities and friendly and helpful staff. It is set in a picturesque rural valley and has a nice pool and restaurant area. The wash block is modern and kept spotlessly clean. It is predominantly a Dutch site and is very suitable for families with children (toddlers up to young teenagers) particularly in high season when we were there.
Could be better: The only drawback for us is that we were staying there so that we could visit family and friends who have a holiday home in this region. As such we were frequently driving in and out of the site in our motorhome. Due to its rural location the access is via narrow twisty turny single track roads for several miles. So the drive in and out did become a bit tiresome and you were always worried you’d meet a large vehicle or caravan coming the other way (which by pure luck we didn’t!). Finally, local supermarkets are some distance away so make sure you stock up beforehand!

Liked: Large natural camping areas, very quiet, owners very welcoming, excellent facilities, super calm.
Could be better: We underestimated how far from town the site was - small shop selling essentials would have been useful.

Ok stay, but a bit hidden in the middle of nowhere
Liked: We enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the company we were with and the pool.
Could be better: The pool opening times can be improved. Having the pool close at 18:00 on days with 35 degrees seem very unreasonable.

Fantastic campsite
Liked: A fantastic, spacious campsite with a natural feel. The owners were incredibly kind and always available to help. Since it wasn’t high season, we could choose our own spot, which was a great bonus. The on-site restaurant was lovely, and although the swimming pool was a bit cold, it was still very enjoyable.
Could be better: It’s perfect, we don’t have any suggestions!

Nice Campsite In A Nice Rural Setting
Liked: Modern clean facilities, nice bar area and restaurant serving good food. Also has a nice swimming pool area and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Could be better: The campsite itself is absolutely fine. Unfortunately when we were staying there the only access was via a long single track road which might have been problematic if we had met any large caravans or motorhomes coming in the opposite direction. There was a much shorter route in but it was closed as a new bridge was being built so this issue will be resolved at some point

In the beautiful green hills, on the border of Piemonte and Liguria, lies camping Tenuta Squaneto. Tenuta Squaneto offers peace, space and comfort. In a peacefull and quiet green valley, just a few kilometers away from the nearest villages, you can enjoy the silence and nature during your holiday with family.
The camping is located in a quiet and green valley, just a few kilometers from the nearest villages Pareto (7 km), Piana Crixia (5km) and Dego (10 km). Here you can enjoy the silence of the nature, sometimes interrupted by croaking frogs, singing birds or barking roe deers. You will be amazed by the many species of butterflies, grasshoppers, dragonflies, lizards and salamanders.
The diversity of flowers in the field is a feast for the eye, particularly in the spring. In the autumn, many Italians go into the woods to search for mushrooms. The forests around Tenuta Squaneto are known as a good spot for porcini mushrooms, but also all kinds of other edible types of mushrooms can be found here. Since only minor differences can be observed between edible and (deadly) poisonous mushrooms, we strongly recommend that you leave all mushrooms intact.

65% at the latest 6 weeks before arrival
Important: Your reservation will only be definite until receipt of your first payment.
Cancellation: On cancellation up to 42 days before the date of arrival, your deposit will be refunded with deduction of a € 30,00 administration fee. Later cancellation, late arrival after/pre departure before the booked departure date gives no right for a refund.
