Our stay at Fontisson
Liked: Good bar area and pool area. Although we do not have children with us there is lots for kids to do. Good size shaded pitches, plenty of things to visit near by driving, small town 1 km away with mini market carrafor. Staff very present especially the bar man.
Could be better: Bar could open before 5.30 pm Toilets all clean and showers too

Liked: Small and very accommodating site with plenty of facilities including pool, restaurant with small but nice menu, lots to do for the children with play area, boules, mini golf, table tennis, bouncy castle, ablutions were excellent, modern, clean and well maintained. Reception run and managed by owners speaking great English, helpful and friendly with small shop and availability of some essentials, washing machine and dryer available. Site made up of largely chalets which were all well maintained with remainder of site dedicated to camping and mobile homes, electric and water available

Wonderful
Liked: What a lovely campsite, family operated who are very welcoming and helpful. Very private pitches with good shade essential in the recent heatwave. Beautiful swimming pool. Events were put on during the evening such as a local craft market and the village of Chateauneuf du Gadagne was an easy walking distance and there was a nice cheese and wine shop there - Stephane & Janique which also served food and drinks.
Could be better: An additional washing machine in the laundry might be useful, can't think of much else.

If you are coming from the A7 motorway from the north or south, take exit 23, follow Morieres les Avignon then Ilsle sur la Sorgue.
Chateauneuf de Gadagne is 8 km from the motorway exit between Moriere les Avignon and Le Thor on the road D901.
Arrivals are possible until 19:00.
The gate to the campsite is closed between 10.30 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. for reasons of peace and quiet. No departures are possible outside these hours.Please remember to park in the reception car park outside these times.
RENTAL CONDITIONS
RATES
Our rates include access to games, sports equipment and the swimming pool (swimsuits compulsory at the pool, Bermuda shorts and shorts forbidden), as well as entertainment (in July and August and according to program). The pool and paddling pool are open from mid-May to mid-September, weather permitting.
WELCOME For the peace and safety of our campers, access to the campsite is only possible for holidaymakers holding a badge issued on arrival upon presentation of proof of identity. Lost badges will incur a €20 charge. Reception is open from 8.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm in high season. For arrivals after 7pm, please call 04 90 22 59 77.
RESERVATION Recommended in July and August for camping pitches, compulsory throughout the campsite's opening hours for rentals. Reservations are strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or assign your rights under this agreement without our consent. Late arrival or early departure before the end of the planned stay will not entitle you to a refund of any sums paid.
CAMPING SITE Reservations are final upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay (+ any insurance costs). On receipt of the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation.
ARRIVAL PITCH
Pitches are available from 2.00 pm. One car + one caravan or tent per pitch or camper van. Any additional installation will be charged. Additional vehicles must be parked in the parking lot at the campsite entrance. Any change during your stay (e.g. number of people) must be notified immediately to reception. The balance of the stay is due in full on arrival.
For Premium pitches (private sanitary facilities), you will be asked to pay a deposit of €80 when you receive your keys. This will be returned to you if the departure inventory and inventory of fixtures are correct. Any damaged, broken or lost item will be invoiced at the price indicated on the inventory of your rental.
Final cleaning before departure inventory is the tenant's responsibility. A cleaning fee of 30€ is available and may be charged if management deems it necessary.
Check-out: before 12 h.
ENTAL
Reservations are final upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total cost of your stay (+ any insurance costs). Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation. The balance of the stay must be paid one month before your arrival at the campsite. Only one vehicle may be parked on the pitch. Additional vehicles must park in the parking lot at the campsite entrance.
Arrival: Keys handed over from 3pm. A deposit of 300 € will be required on arrival.
( 150€ for the Tithome and the chalet). It will be returned if the departure inventory and the inventory of fixtures are correct. The number of users must not exceed the accommodation capacity. In the event of abuse, this will result in immediate breach of contract.
An inventory is taken of the equipment for each rental. To avoid any dispute, the tenant must check and report any anomaly to the reception desk within 24 hours of arrival. Any damaged, broken or lost object will be charged at the price indicated on the inventory of your rental.
Departure: Before 10 a.m., by prior appointment (inventory, inventory of fixtures). Final cleaning before departure inventory is the responsibility of the tenant. A cleaning fee of 60€ is available and may be charged if management deems it necessary.
ANIMALS Only dogs are allowed on the campsite, in accordance with current laws and regulations, on presentation of their up-to-date vaccination certificate. They must be kept on a leash and never left alone in the accommodation. 1st and 2nd category dogs are not allowed.
INSURANCE It is the camper's responsibility to take out insurance. The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, etc. and in the event of incidents for which the camper is responsible.
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION Cancellation insurance can be taken out with Campez Couvert*. Summary of cancellation insurance cover :

All booking cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation, the following amounts will be withheld or remain payable as compensation for breach of contract:
- 30% of the total cost of your stay if you cancel more than 15 days before your scheduled arrival date,
- the full cost of your stay if you cancel less than 15 days before your scheduled arrival date, or if you fail to arrive on your scheduled arrival date. In the absence of a telephone message or e-mail from the camper stating that he/she has had to postpone the date of arrival, the pitch or rental will become available 24 hours after the date stated on the contract, and full payment for services will still be required.
All campers are required to comply with the Camping Fontisson rules and regulations. The campsite reserves the right to expel any offender. The Tribunal d'Avignon is the only competent court in case of dispute.
* Camping Fontisson offers cancellation and interruption insurance as part of your rental contract. Our partner Gritchen Affinity will reimburse all or part of your stay.
In the event of cancellation, please notify the campsite of your withdrawal by post or e-mail as soon as an event preventing your departure occurs. If the claim is covered by the general conditions (available at www.campez-couvert.com or from the campsite), notify the insurer within 48 hours and provide all the necessary information and supporting documents.
