RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We ask you to read carefully the rental terms and conditions. By signing the rental contract,
you accept our rental terms and conditions.
RESERVATION CONDITIONS
The reservation will be final after our written confirmation, after receiving the duly filled
in, dated and signed contract, the deposit +reservation fees or after accepting the rental
terms and conditions on line.
Each reservation needs to be accepted by camping l'étoile d'or. The campsite reserves the
right to refuse a reservation ,depending availibilities or contrary to the principles of the
campsite. The campsite L Étoile d'Or offers traditionnal family holidays and the lodgings
and activities are designed in that purpose. Areservation for a pitch or a rental accomodation
can only be made in your name.You cannot rent it out to a third partywithout the acceptation
of the campsite L Étoile d'Or. Minors cannot effectuate a reservation and they should be accompanied by their parents orlegal guardians. The plot number that you received at your confirmation is not bound and the management reserves the right to change the plot number.
CAMPING PITCH
The basic package includes the location for the tent, caravan or camping car for 1 or 2
persons, electricity, 1 car, access to the sanitary block, infrastructures of the campsite.
Maximum 6 persons per pitch, whatever their age.
RENTAL ACCOMODATION
The lodgings are fullyequipped.The basic package is for 4 till 8 persons depending themodel,1 car.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse the access to families arriving on the campsite with a
number of occupants superior to the capacity of the rented lodging. No extra tent is allowed.
All ourrental accomodations are no smoking.No animals accepted in the rentalaccomodations.
GROUP RESERVATION
Each reservation for more then 3 lodgings by the same natural person or by different natural
persons who are traveilling together at the same dates and for the same reasons are
considered as a group. Our accomodation s proposed on the commercial iwebsite of the
campsite and on our brochure are only for personal customers. For any request for a group
reservation, you must contact the campsite by mail or telephone before your reservation request. The campsite reserves the right to examin any request before acceptation or refusal .
RATES AND STAY TAXES
All the rates mentionned are for the season 2024.the rates are per day and in euros, VAT
included (see on the page of the rates to find out what is included in our rates) but no
stay taxes included, the amount will be fixed by the local authority in spring 2024.
The campsite can be susceptible to apply promotional offers during the season (periods
and products still to determinate).The staying taxes are 0.86 Euros /day/person +18.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
All the reservations effectuated more then 30 days before arrival, the deposit of 30 % of
the total stay must be paid at the moment of reservation. The balance should be paid at
the latest 30 days before arrival. All the reservations effectuated less then 30 days before
arrival, the total cost needs to be paid at the moment of reservation.Without the payment
of the balance within the deadline, the campsite reserves the right to cancel your reservation and to not refund your deposit.
Bypayment by chèques vacances, theymust be on behalf of a person registred on the contract.
YOUR STAY
If a “sanitary passport“ is obligatory for the french government, on the dates of your stay,
every person needs to show a valid “sanitary passport“ on arrival at the campsite.
1.Arrival
Depending the period, the day of arrival can be changed (refer to the rates). The pitch
can be occupied from 3 pm. The rental accomodation can be occupied from 3 pm. 48 hours
max before your arrival, you need to download the application “Cool'n camp“ and pay the deposit (350€) by SWIKLY. SWIKLY is our partner, it guarantees a safe and secure deposit by card.
Youwillreceive an email of SWIKLYwith a link.You need to fill in the form with your card details,
no debit or influence on the card capacities.The inventory needs to be done on the application
“Cool'n Camp“ within 24 hours after arrival. Only the registred persons at the moment of reservation can stay in the campsite.
2. During your stay
The camper needs to be insured : camping l'étoile d'or cannot be held responsable for any
theft, fire,vandalism,…or any accident arising from the civil responsability of the contracting
parties. All the clients are engaged to respect the internal rules. The subscriber of the
contract is responable for all the persons mentioned in the contract and for his visitors.
3.Departure
The pitch must be liberated before 12 am. The rental accomodation must be liberated before 10 am. The rental accomodation will be inspected the day of departure. The deposit will
be refunded after the inspection that the cleaning has been done and nothing is broken
or missing. In case of damage or the mobilhome has not been cleaned, we will retain that
sum from your deposit, in case the damage is exceeding the amount of the deposit, we
can charge you an extra sum for the extra cost. In case of not cleaning of the rental accomodation the cleaning deposit will not be refunded. In case of delayed departure, an extra
journey can be charged.
ANIMALS
Pitch : the animals are allowedwith an extra cost payable at the moment ofreservation,exempt
dogs of1st and 2nd category.When they are authorised they need to be hold on leash.They are
not allowed near the swimmingpools, shop, restaurant and other buildings.. The vaccination
booklet for dogs and cats needs to be up to date. Rental accomodation : animals not allowed
VISITORS
You are responsable for all your visitors. They need to present themselves at the reception
desk before entering the campsite.They have no acces to the swimmingpools, multisports
area , fitnessroom, sanitary block. They need to park in the carpark « Visiteurs »
CARS
Only 1 car will be authorised /pitch or rental accommodation. A second car needs to be
parked on the exterior car park (unguarded).
SWIMMINGPOOLS
The instructions at the entrance of the swimming pool need to be respected.
Children need to be accompanied by their parents.
For safety and hygiene measures,underwear, t-shirts, shorts, burkini or similar garment
are strictly forbidden. No swim shorts ….
WRISTBAND
By arrival, you accept to wear the campsite wristband and that during the whole stay.
Without the wristband you will not have acces to the swimmingpools or the campsite.
BARBECUES
Open fire barbecues are forbidden. Only electric or gaz barbecues are accepted.
CLAIMS
By object or litigation, only the courts of Perpignan have jurisdiction. Only a written claim
will be accepted,(registred letter)in a delay of 30 days.
MEDIATION
In case of litigation with the campsite and you do not agree with the reply, you can contact
“Bayonne Mediation“, 32 Rue Du Hameau 64200 Biarritz, +33 6 79 59 83 38, after a delay
of1 month of the registred letter.You can download the form from bayonne-mediation.com
PICTURES
You authorise the campsite L'etoile d'Or, to photograph, register and film you during your
stay, and to use these images, films, sounds and recordings on all media especially on the
website, Facebook and Instagram, on presentation and promotional materials, travel or
tourist guides.
This authorization applies to you and all the persons staying with you. Its sole purpose is
promotion and animation of the campsite and cannot harm your reputation. This authorization is granted free of charge for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
RESPONSABILITIES OF CAMPING L'ÉTOILE D'OR
The client admits expressly that the campsite can not be hold responsable for the communication
done by the parners ,or third persons,for false information, erreneous information, in their
brochures or on their website, (including social networks)also for pictures, qualifications,
activities, services and dates. All the pictures or text, in the brochure and on the website,
are not bound. They have only an indicative character. It can happen that some activities
or installations mentionned on the brochure, website, do not longer exist or are closed, for
climatic reasons, major force defined by the French courts.
COMPUTER SCIENCE AND FREEDOM
The informations that you gave us at the moment of reservation are confidential and will
not be given to a third party.They are only used for your reservation and for the personnalised
communication used by the camping L Étoile d'Or.According to the informatical law and
freedom of 6th of January 1978, you have the right of access, changement and opposition
of your personnal records. You can do this at simple request by post by mentioning your
name, first name and address. You allow the campsite the use of pictures or videos showing you, your partner or your children and this for promotional events or publicity. The
campsite is equipped with security cameras.
NO RIGHT OF RETRACTION
According the article L121-19 of the code of consumption, the campsite informs you that
the sale of the services of rental accomodation on a fixed date or a fixed period, is not
submitted to relating provisions of a retraction of 14 days.
CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION
1. Modification of your reservation
Modifications of your reservation can be effectuated without extra cost, under reserve of
disponibilities of the campsite.
Without a written message of your part (confirmed and approved by the campsite) of
changes in the arrival dates, the mobilhome can be let again after 24 hours from the date
of arrival and you cannot claim your reservation.
2. Non-used services
For any stay not consumed, interromped or abreged (late arrival, early departure) no refund
is possible.
3. Cancellation by the campsite.
In case of a cancellation by the campsite L Étoile d'Or, the sums paid will be refunded,
exempt major force. No payment for damage and interest.
4.Cancellation by the camper
In the event of interruption or cancellation of the stay by the customer who has not taken out
cancellation guarantee, the L'Étoile d'Or campsite will keep the sums paid for breach of
contract.
CANCELLATION Guarantee (including Covid-19)
Refund possible until the day of your arrival.
L'Étoile D'Or campsite offers a cancellation guarantee and interruption of stay in the rental
contract. 5€/day rental • 3€/day pitch
In case of cancellation, the client needs to inform the campsite immediately by email or letter.
In this loss is foreseen under the general conditions, the client must,within 48 hours, provide
all the necessary information an documents by email : info@camping-etoiledor.com
The guarantee gives the right to a refund or credit if one of these events occurs before arrival
and not during the stay.
You will be refund for the amount paid deducted by the amount of the administration fees
and the fees of the cancellation guarantee on presentation of official document.
The credit will have a valididy of 2 years from it issue, serious illness, serious accident or
death of a member of your family (ascendants, descendants or those of your partner,
sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, pregnancy complications before the 7 month, major material damage affecting your property
and imperatively requiring your presence, economic dismissal, cancellation or modification
of the dates of holiday by the employer, accident or total loss if your vehicule and/or your
caravan occuring on the way to the place of stay, in the context of Covid 19 : infection of
yourself or one of the participants of the stay, you or a participant is contact person or in
quarantine due to Covid 19, required as part of the fight against Covid19.
In the following specific cases, only a crdit (value 2 years from its issue) : border clossure,
health emergency, quarantine and general lockdown, aministrative closure of the etablishment. These lists are exhaustive, any other reason will not be taken into account ( personal
reasons, divorce, separation…)
