GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

Scope of the General Conditions of Sale :

These general conditions and/or the reservation contract transmitted to the customer form a contractual whole and constitute the entirety of the contractual relations between the campsite and its customers. This set governs the sales of stay by the campsite and it is valid at the time the order is placed to the exclusion of all other conditions.

The campsite reserves the right to modify its general conditions at any time. However, the version applicable to the customer is the one he has accepted at the time of booking.

Acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale:

The customer is deemed to accept these General Conditions of Sale without reservation in accordance with the provisions of Articles 1126 of the Civil Code. The customer is therefore well informed that, by checking the box "I certify that I have read the General Conditions of Sale" when placing the order on the Internet or by receiving the reservation contract to which these conditions are supported, he expresses his specific, free and informed consent, in particular with regard to the use of personal data. This acceptance without reservation is valid either for the customer or for any person participating in the stay. These General Conditions of Sale are also available on the campsite's website and at the campsite reception.

Locations:

• From the opening to the closing of the campsite, the pitches can be booked with free departure and arrival days: arrival from 3 p.m. and departure before 11:30 a.m. -
• A camping access badge will be given to you against a deposit of €20 in cash and returned on your departure upon delivery of the badge
• Our pitches can only be occupied by a maximum of 6 people from the same family
• Customers are required to be insured for themselves and their equipment.
• Refrigerator rental (4nights minimum) Its amount is fixed according to the rate in force. The deposit of €150.
• The cleaning of the refrigerator must be done by the tenant just before his departure.

If the state of cleanliness is not satisfactory, the cleaning fee of €50 will be retained. If the state is deemed inadmissible, this lump sum will be increased accordingly.

• Any deposit must be paid only by credit card such as VISA or MASTERCARD
• The connection of electric cars is strictly prohibited on the pitches.
• The location must be made clean and cleared of all objects brought that do not belong to the location: pebbles, branches, ropes....

Accommodations:

• In high season, rentals can be booked every day
• Out of season, arrival and departure days are free
• Arrivals from 4pm and departures before 10am.
• An access badge to the campsite will be given to you against a deposit of €20 and returned on your departure at the delivery of the badge
• The amount of the deposit is €300.00. We remind you that this deposit does not constitute a limit of liability. Damages in excess of the amount paid as a security deposit will be borne by the Customer after imputation of the security deposit.
• Any deposit must be paid only by credit card such as VISA or MASTERCARD
• The cleaning of the rental must be carried out by the tenant just before his departure.

If the state of cleanliness is not satisfactory, the cleaning fee of €110 will be retained. If the state of the rental is deemed inadmissible, this flat rate will be increased accordingly.

• Interior furniture must not be used outside - no furniture must leave the rental or terrace.
• Only one animal is accepted with the agreement of the management and under conditions, must not remain alone inside the rentals, is prohibited from climbing on the beds and bench. The cleaning fee is mandatory. Duvets and blankets will not be provided.
• The connection of electric cars in rentals is strictly prohibited.
• The deposit will be returned within 72 hours after verification of the rental.
• It is the tenant's responsibility to take stock of his inventory upon arrival. (Available on the website as well as in the rental). Any breach noted by the tenant must be notified within 12 hours at the reception of Camping Universal.

When cleaning any missing object will be charged. In case of breakage, the tenant is required to declare it at the reception and pay the sum, no replacement will be accepted.

Booking conditions:

• Any request for accommodation or location reservation must be confirmed by the payment of a deposit corresponding to 30% of the amount of the reserved services. For groups the deposit is 50%.
• The reservation will only be effective with our agreement after receipt of the duly completed reservation contract.
• If on arrival, the people who show up do not correspond to those mentioned in the contract, the management reserves the right to cancel it.
• Any stay shortened by you in relation to the dates of the reservation (late arrival, early departure) cannot give rise to a refund.
• The application fee amounts to €20 (non-refundable, non-deductible).
• The payment methods accepted for the payment of the deposit: Credit card, bank transfer (bank fees paid by the customer)
• Any reservation is nominative and cannot be transferred under any circumstances. If several families must succeed each other on the same accommodation/location, it is essential to make a reservation for each family.
• A reserved accommodation/location, not occupied and deferred, will be made available the next day at 12 p.m., late arrival or cancellation telephone messages are not allowed.
• For any change of stay, the same accommodation/location cannot be guaranteed.
• In case of extreme necessity, we reserve the right to change the number of your accommodation or location.

Terms of payment:

The balance of the stay is due:

• 30 days before the start of the stay; or by staggered after agreement of the management.
• Or immediately for any reservation made less than 30 days before the start of the stay.

In the absence of payment of the balance on the agreed date, the Camping is entitled to consider that the Customer has canceled his reservation and retains the amounts already paid.

Methods of payment:

The methods of payment of the deposit and/or the entire stay accepted by the Campsite vary according to the date of payment: ́

• If payment is made at least 60 days before the arrival date: it can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

Cheques are not accepted for less than 60 days -

Holiday vouchers:

Amounts paid in holiday vouchers cannot be reimbursed in accordance with Article L.112-14-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code.

Tourist tax:

The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the community of municipalities, is not included in the rates. Its amount is determined per adult and per day.

Important information:

Reception of minors: For obvious reasons of safety (swimming pool, evacuation of the campsite in the event of an alert...) and health (hospitalization...), minors unaccompanied by their legal administrators, within the meaning of Article 389 of the Civil Code, are not admitted. In addition, the Campsite is not authorized, within the meaning of Decree 2002-883 of May 3, 2002, to ensure collective or individual stays outside the family home of minors under the age of 18, unaccompanied by one of their legal administrators. As for minors accompanied by their legal administrators, they are placed under the sole responsibility of the latter and must under no circumstances be left unattended within the campsite

Rules of procedure:

Everyone is required to comply with the provisions of the campsite's rules of procedure.

In the event of patent non-compliance with this regulation, the Management of the site may take sanctions up to and including the termination of the contract and especially in the event of a disruptive attitude contrary to the calm and serenity of the reception or in the event of violent behavior, abusive, racist or threatening remarks against other Customers, the Camping staff or its partners or suppliers. The Customer is informed that access to the accommodation may also be refused.

Each tenant in title is responsible for the disturbances and nuisances caused by the people who stay with him or visit him. Nighttime calm: Campsite residents are required to comply with the rules of procedure, From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the campsite barrier is closed and calm must be respected, no vehicle must circulate within the campsite.

Swimming pool : Bath SHORTS, sunscreen, shoes, animals, drinks, food, tobacco are strictly FORBIDDEN.

Animals :

Two pets are allowed per pitch subject to being indicated at the time of booking or upon arrival on site. Pets are not allowed to move freely and must be kept on a leash, including on the rented pitch. They are not allowed in the aquatic area, the children's playground and the sanitary blocks. Animal droppings must be collected by the Customer and their behavior must not harm the peace of mind of other customers. The Customer is asked not to leave his dog alone. The reception of animals meets two conditions: - valid rabies vaccination - identification by tattoo or chip certified by a card issued by the Société Centrale Canine. The customer must bring the animal's health book. Dangerous or aggressive animals (including 1st and 2nd category dogs) as well as exotic animals and cats are not accepted. The cleaning package is mandatory in rentals.

Visitors:

Any visitor invited by the Customer must be reported and registered at the Reception of the Campsite. The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the services of the campsite. The Visitor is required to respect the Camping Regulations and to keep the mandatory ticket.

For any visitor a fee must be paid. Its amount is fixed according to the rate in force. Visitors do not have access to the pool. Their vehicle is prohibited inside the campsite and will have to stay in the common parking lot outside.

Right - Image : During the stay, the Customer is likely to be photographed or filmed on the site. By accepting the General Conditions of Sale, the Customer authorizes the Campsite, its representatives and any person acting with the permission of the Campsite to capture, reproduce, communicate, disseminate and exploit his image. This authorization also applies to all people hosted with the Customer. Nevertheless, the Customer may oppose this practice, in writing, at the Reception of the Campsite. The Company expressly prohibits itself from exploiting images that may violate privacy or reputation, and from using the images, in any medium of a pornographic, racist, xenophobic or any other harmful exploitation. The Customer acknowledges that he cannot claim any remuneration for the exploitation of the rights referred to. 

Law - Language : These general conditions of sale and the transactions resulting from them are governed and subject to French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these GTC will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the place of establishment of the campsite.

These general conditions of sale are written in French. In the event that they are translated into one or more foreign languages, only the French text should be authentic in the event of a dispute.

Right of withdrawal : The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised pursuant to Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the campsite informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or according to a determined periodicity, is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period.

Cancellation of your reservation : Any stay abbreviated by you in relation to the dates of the reservation (late arrival, early departure) cannot give rise to a refund. The sums paid during the reservation remain acquired at the campsite. The rented period will be charged even in the event of a cancelled or shortened stay: late arrival and/or early departure. Possibility to subscribe to cancellation insurance (terms and conditions on the Internet)

Site placed under video surveillance

Informatics and freedoms : The information you provide on the occasion of your order will not be transmitted to any third party. This information is considered by the camping universal as confidential. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and oppose personal data concerning you. To do this, simply request it by mail to the campsite, indicating your surname, first name andt adresse. 

Responsibility of the campsite : The customer expressly acknowledges that the campsite cannot be held responsible for the communication by its partners or any third party of false information that would be mentioned in their brochure or website, and in particular presentation photos, qualifiers, activities, leisure, services and operating dates. All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the websites are non-contractual. They are only indicative. It may happen that certain activities and facilities proposed and indicated in the description in the brochure are deleted, in particular for climatic reasons or in cases of force majeure, as defined by the French courts.

Partial non-validation of the General Conditions of Sale : In the event that one of the clauses of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale would be null and void by a change in legislation, regulations or by a court decision, this can in no way affect the validity and compliance with these General Conditions of Sale.

Environment :
A contribution is required for your stay up to €0.65 per night and per person. All of this sum is reinvested to be used in an environmental approach as part of our CSR approach. 

Charging electric or hybrid cars : The charging of electric or hybrid vehicles is strictly prohibited throughout the campsite, pitches and rentals. Recharge is allowed only on the point provided for this purpose at the entrance of the campsite. The price is displayed on the terminals and is available at the bar or reception.
