Under a public service delegation agreement, the SAS ‘Les Touristes Associés’ is the authorised manager of the Val de Saures Municipal Campsite,
2. All rentals of pitches, tents or chalets are in the name of the hirer and may under no circumstances be transferred or sublet. Bookings are registered upon written request, using the attached contract or via our website. No telephone bookings will be accepted.
3. The legal provisions relating to distance selling set out in the French Consumer Code stipulate that the right of withdrawal does not apply to tourism services (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
4. The tenancy will only become effective following our agreement and receipt of a payment comprising: the deposit specified in your contract, any tenancy administration fees and cancellation insurance. These costs are always borne by the tenant. Tenancies are allocated in the order in which they are booked.
5. In the absence of a written message or fax from the tenant stating that they have had to postpone their arrival date, the rental will become available 12 hours after the date stated on the rental contract and full payment of any outstanding charges will still be required. Telephone messages are not accepted.
6. ARRIVAL: a) CAMPING AND BIVOUAC: flexible arrival day; arrivals are after 3 pm and departures before 12 noon.
b) ACCOMMODATION RENTALS: flexible arrival day in all seasons. In July and August, rentals are by the week only.
Arrival after 4 pm. Departure before 10 am. Outside these periods, rentals can be arranged for any duration to suit you (overnight, weekend, etc.).
7. ACCOMMODATION SECURITY DEPOSIT: An inventory check will be carried out by you on arrival and by our staff after your departure. You must provide a security deposit of €300 on arrival (by credit card only; cash and cheques are not accepted). Any damage for which you are responsible will be deducted immediately from this deposit. Final cleaning, if not carried out by you: €75.
8. PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE FOR YOUR STAY: a) CAMPSITE: No reduction will be granted in the event of a late arrival or early departure. The total amount for your stay is payable 14 days before your arrival at the campsite.
b) RENTALS: No reduction will be granted in the event of late arrival or early departure. The total amount for your stay is payable in full ONE MONTH before the scheduled start of the rental. If you book less than one month before the scheduled start of your stay, you must enclose full payment with your rental contract.
9. CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation of your stay, the following amounts will be retained or remain payable by you as rental and insurance fees, and as a penalty for breach of contract: - An amount equal to 25 per cent of the full cost of the stay if you cancel more than 30 days before the scheduled date; - The full cost of your stay if you cancel less than 30 days before your scheduled arrival date, or if you fail to arrive on that date. Cancellation notices must be sent to us by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt; the postmark will serve as proof of the date of dispatch.
10. You have the option of taking out cancellation insurance. This will reimburse you for the cancellation fee you would otherwise be obliged to pay us in the event of cancellation or alteration of your stay, calculated in accordance with our general terms and conditions, provided that your case is indeed covered. 11. HOUSE RULES: All guests are required to comply strictly with the establishment’s house rules, which are displayed at the entrance and a copy of which is available to anyone on request. It is the tenant’s responsibility to ensure they are adequately insured for the entire duration of their stay: SAS LES TOURISTES ASSOCIES accepts no liability in the event of theft, fire, bad weather or any other incident for which the tenant is directly responsible.
Please note: it is strictly forbidden to charge electric vehicles at the campsite’s charging points or at the chalets. A ‘Recharge Plus’ charging point is available in the village of Le Bastié, and two charging points are installed in the car park of the multicultural hall in front of the campsite.
12. Consumer Ombudsman: In accordance with the provisions of Article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, any guest at the campsite is entitled to refer a dispute with the campsite operator to a consumer ombudsman free of charge, with a view to reaching an amicable resolution. Our prices include:
- the hire of a pitch with one vehicle and one set of camping equipment. Additional vehicles and items of camping equipment are subject to a surcharge,
- access to toilet facilities *** and hot showers,
- tourist information,
- the campsite’s free services and leisure activities,
- access to the Entraygues-sur-Truyère municipal swimming pool during its opening hours.
Our prices do not include:
- activities requiring a participation fee (e.g. canoeing trips),
- ancillary services: laundry facilities,
- the deposit for swimming pool wristbands,
- the municipal tourist tax collected on behalf of the commune of Entraygues and the department of Aveyron, amounting to 0.44 euros per person aged 18
and over per night, and the eco-contribution of €0.56 per adult per night for chalet and tent rentals.
