Summer Holiday
Liked: First of all we were made very welcome by even though our French wasn’t impressive. The campsite location was fantastic, lovely swimming pool and the facilities were clean and adequate and away from hustle and bustle which helped us to relax but allowed us to explore and experience what the region had to offer within easy travelling distance. Rouffignac was the local village with a small supermarket within walking or cycling distance, again very pleasant. As a couple visiting in early June 2024 we found it ideal, would definitely recommend.

1 / Our services:
Basic package:
when renting a pitch for your tent, caravan or campervan. The price of your stay includes at least the location, 2 people, your installation, your vehicle and access to the infrastructures, entertainment and sanitary facilities. Ancillary costs such as electricity supply, additional person, pets, visitors, may be added.
Rental accommodation:
Your reservation is NOMINATIVE. For security and insurance reasons, the number of people must not exceed that specified in the type of accommodation rented. Any change in the number or identity of the people initially provided for in the contract must be reported before your arrival. Management reserves the right to refuse the reception of uninformed persons
Our prices include the persons (a baby or a child counts for one person) respecting the capacity of the accommodation (4, 5 or 6persons max), water, gas, electricity, a vehicle, the access to the infrastructures of reception, animations and toilets. In July and August, rental is from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday depending on accommodation. Outside this period, overnight rental with a minimum of 2 nights is possible.
Your accommodation must be maintained throughout the stay and returned to the state when you leave. All equipment made available must remain in the rental.
On arrival, your wishes for a different location or habitat on the campsite can only be met within our availabilities at the time.
Key handover: The rented accommodations are made available to the client, from 4pm on the day of his arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. For departures beyond that time, an extra night will be charged unless otherwise agreed with the owner.
Extra activities: Any free or paid activities can, in some circumstances beyond our control, be modified or cancelled when you arrive on site.
Our prices include a VAT rate of 10% applicable to the day they were determined. Any subsequent change in the VAT rate, which would occur between the times when the rates were determined and the billing of the stay, will result in a corresponding modification of the overall price which the client accepts without reservation. Our rates do not include tourist tax and Eco tax. These taxes are charged at the same time as your accommodation. For 2024, the tourist tax is €0.50/night per person aged 18 and over. Eco tax 0.60€/night per person.
2 / Payment of your stay:
Payment options: you can pay the balance of your stay by cash, credit card and bank transfer. We also accept French bank cheques, postal cheques and holiday cheques,
Terms of Payment: Any booking request must be joined by a 25% payment deposit to cover applications fees and cancellation fee (if purchased). Unless this deposit reaches us within 10 days of your booking request, the reservation will be annulled.
Your booking will be confirm once a registration is issued by the campsite.
Your balance must be paid no later than 15 days before the start of your stay. Local taxes must be paid on or before the day of arrival.
The prices indicated are subject to change. The campsite reserves the right to modify the rates at any time. Stays will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force on the day of booking, subject to availability. It is advisable to check the applicable rate by contacting the campsite directly.
Offers and promotions are not retroactive and cannot be combined.
3 / Booking:
Your reservation will be effective upon receiving by mail, email or via our online booking system the following documents:
- Your fully completed reservation contract form
- Your deposit
- A signed or validated online “Terms of sale” form
A confirmation of booking will then be send by post or email.. In no circumstance, you can lend your accommodation to a third party.
Last minute bookings:
Any bookings made less than 7 days before the day of departure must be paid in full by credit card only.
4 / Late arrival and early departure:
In case of late arrival or early departure, the balance for your entire stay will still be due. You will not be entitled to any refund for the part of the stay not completed, except if a cancellation insurance has been taken.
5 / No show on the campsite:
In case of a no show on the campsite within 24 hours from the beginning of your stay and without justification and / or news of your arrival, we will make your accommodation available. The entire deposit will be retained by the campsite.
6 / Cancellation:
Guests responsibilities: All cancellations must be notified by post, which will take effect from the date of receipt of the mail. It is recommended to take out a cancellation insurance. The insurance premium must be paid in full when booking your stay and is nonrefundable. It may be taken up 6 weeks prior to your date of arrival. In case of unforeseen circumstances, you must notify the company of the event within five days. The insurance will reimburse the full amount paid in advance and in case of a premature departure, the amount of your stay not used pro rata. No refund will be made if a cancellation insurance is not purchased. The complete terms and conditions are available online on the website or http://www.campez-couvert.com and available on request.
Owner responsibilities: in all cases, the owner must repay the sums received or made pro rata; or if possible, offer an alternative option, unless it can prove a breach of contract has been made by the guest: bailiff, testimonies, photos.
7 / deposit:
For rental accommodation, a deposit or deposit of 250 to 350 euros will be required upon arrival (credit card imprint). 8 / Rules:

9 / Mediation:
In case of dispute and after entering the customer service of the establishment, any customer of the campsite has the opportunity to seize a consumer mediator, within a maximum of one year from the date of the written complaint , by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, to the operator.
