PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all services offered on the “GAIA Ecolodge” website or through any other communication medium.
The content of the website is intended to inform customers. Some of the services offered may be subject to modification depending on occupancy rates and/or may only be available on specific dates during the season.
The prices shown are indicative, may be subject to change, and are valid only for the current season.
The service will be provided at the rate in effect on the date of booking. All prices include VAT. Any change in the VAT rate will result in a price adjustment.
In accordance with the French Tourism Code, GAIA Ecolodge reserves the right to modify the information displayed on its website or on any other communication medium. In the event of significant changes, an erratum will be published on the camping website.
1. BOOKING CONDITIONS
- The contracting party must be at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, and not be under guardianship. The contracting party must be present throughout the stay.
- The booking becomes effective only upon approval by the campsite, after receipt of the deposit, and after acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale during the online booking process.
- The booking of a pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. It may not be sublet or transferred without the prior consent of the campsite.
- Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Camping Pitches
The basic package includes a pitch for a tent, caravan, or motorhome for 1 or 2 people and one vehicle, with access to sanitary facilities and reception amenities.
Additional charges (extra person, pets, extra vehicle, etc.) are not included in the base rate and will be added accordingly.
Pitches can accommodate up to 6 people maximum (including babies).
Check-in: from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Rental Accommodation
All rental units are equipped. The base package accommodates 2 to 8 people (including babies), depending on the type of rental.
GAIA Ecolodge reserves the right to refuse entry to groups or families exceeding the accommodation’s capacity.
Booking fees
€25 for rentals, €15 for camping pitches.
2. PRICES, TOURIST TAX & ECO-CONTRIBUTION
• Prices are valid for the 2026 season. They are quoted in euros, VAT included, and correspond to the chosen accommodation, number of persons, and length of stay.
Local taxes and any supplements are not included.
• An environmental contribution and waste management fee are payable upon arrival, per person, per night.
Our establishment is subject to fees related to natural resource usage (water) and waste treatment. These represent a compensatory and awareness-based contribution (€0.86 / person / night).
3. PAYMENT TERMS
For rentals
For bookings made more than 30 days before arrival, a deposit of 30% (or 40% in the case of promotions) of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay.
For camping pitches
The same applies: a 30% deposit (or 40% if promotion) is due at booking, and the balance is payable 30 days before arrival.
For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
4. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, GAIA Ecolodge informs customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period is not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.
5. PAYMENT OF THE STAY
Accepted payment methods
French bank or postal cheques, holiday vouchers, e-connect, cash, credit/debit cards, national or international bank transfers.
Online bookings
- Deposit of 30% (or 40% for promotions) + booking fees + optional cancellation insurance
- Balance to be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
If payment is not received within the required time frame, the booking will be considered cancelled, and the cancellation conditions will apply.
By post
Same conditions apply.
The booking will only be considered valid once the buyer has received written confirmation from GAIA Ecolodge.
6. CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS
Booking modification
The customer may request to modify their stay (dates, type of accommodation).
Any modification must be confirmed in writing and is subject to availability and approval by GAIA Ecolodge.
In the event of an extension, the applicable rate at that time will apply.
Downgrades (to a lower category) do not entitle the client to any refund.
Partial cancellation
A reduction in the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the same terms.
Cancellation fees
All requests must be sent by registered letter.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount + booking fees + insurance (if taken out)
- Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount + booking fees + insurance (if taken out)
Unused services
Any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) or no-show will not be refunded.
We recommend taking out cancellation or interruption insurance.
Cancellation by GAIA Ecolodge
Except in cases of force majeure, the full amount paid will be refunded. No additional compensation will be granted.
Cancellation insurance
We recommend taking out insurance with Neat, which reimburses 100% of the stay with proof and 70% without proof.
7. YOUR STAY
Arrival
- Camping pitches: check-in from 12:00 p.m., check-out before 12:00 p.m.
- Rentals: check-in from 3:00 p.m. A €250 security deposit will be requested upon key handover.
During your stay
The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of incidents covered by the camper’s civil liability.
All guests must comply with the campsite’s internal regulations.
The registered tenant is responsible for any disturbance caused by themselves, their companions, or their visitors.
Departure
• Rentals: must be vacated by 11:00 a.m.
Accommodation must be left clean and in perfect condition.
Any broken or missing items will be charged to the tenant.
The deposit will be refunded 3 to 4 days after departure, less any deductions for damage or cleaning fees.
- Cleaning fee (if not done): minimum €110.
- In case of late departure, an extra night may be charged at the current rate.
8. VISITORS
Visitors are allowed on the campsite after registering at reception and paying the visitor fee.
They may use the facilities except for the swimming pool and the fishing pond.
The host is responsible for their visitors’ behaviour.
9. PETS
Pets are accepted (except dogs of category 1 and 2) with a fee payable at booking.
They must be kept on a leash at all times.
They are not allowed near the swimming pools, food shops, or buildings.
Vaccination certificates must be up to date.
Pets must never be left alone on the campsite or in accommodation.
Owners must collect their pet’s waste throughout the campsite.
10. IMAGE RIGHTS
You expressly authorise GAIA Ecolodge, free of charge, to use photographs and/or videos taken during your stay for communication purposes.
Any guest who does not wish to be photographed or filmed must inform GAIA Ecolodge in writing and in advance.
You also authorise their publication and use across any type of media.
11. CLAIMS AND DISPUTES
Any complaint regarding the non-conformity of the services provided must be sent by letter or email to GAIA Ecolodge.
In case of dispute:
- Send a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to GAIA Ecolodge.
- Mediation: in accordance with consumer law, the client has the right to use, free of charge, the mediation service offered by GAIA Ecolodge.
The appointed mediator is MEDICYS.

12. LIABILITY OF GAIA Ecolodge
The customer expressly acknowledges that GAIA Ecolodge cannot be held responsible for information provided by its partners.
All photos and texts used on GAIA Ecolodge’s website are non-contractual and are provided for information purposes only.
13. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
The information you provide when making your reservation will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
It will be used exclusively by GAIA Ecolodge for processing your booking and to improve communication and services offered to our customers.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify, and object to the processing of your personal data.
