Booking Terms and Conditions
When we receive your initial payment (if required) and fully completed booking form, we've both made an agreement for your reservation. We'll use the e-mail address you give us for all correspondence; we're sorry but we can't accept liability for any delivery failures.
When you make a reservation you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Under the French consumer code, the provision of accommodation services, on a specific date or during a specific period, are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Consequently, the accommodation and services offered are exclusively subject to the cancellation conditions set out in these terms and conditions. 190626 221 28 12
Pets
We welcome pets (not from Classes 1 or 2) on site; please show up to date vaccination records when you arrive. We're sorry but we don't allow pets in our rental accommodation.
Dogs must be supervised, on a lead at all times and must not wander outside your pitch; they must be taken off site to go to the toilet.
We regret that we will have to ask the owner of any pet considered a nuisance, or to be affecting the enjoyment, comfort or health and safety of others, to remove their pet from the site.
Deposits & Payments
We require a non-refundable deposit when you book your holiday and we will send details of the various payment options available. We're sorry but, at this time, we cannot accept card payments.
We will require the balance of your holiday 4 weeks before you arrive and we ask you to pay by this date.
If we don't receive your balance when we ask for it, we'll release your pitch/accommodation for sale and no refund will be payable.
Payment Charges
If you use a payment method for which we incur charges, you will agree to reimburse us for those charges. All items and services that you order, before or during your holiday, must be paid for even if they are not taken or used.
Cancellations & Amendments
If you cancel your holiday (or it is cancelled because you have not paid in full by the due date) we will refund the following (less your initial payment):
12 to 16 weeks before arrival - 100% refund
4 to 12 weeks before arrival - 50% refund
less than 4 weeks before arrival - No refund
Please e-mail changes to your booking as soon as possible but by 9.00pm the day before you arrive; we'll do our best to arrange those changes for you.
It is not possible to reimburse any monies in the event of an early departure; we do not offer cancellation insurance but recommend that you invest in this.
Arrivals & Departures
Your pitch/accommodation will be available from 3.00pm on your arrival date; please ensure you are fully installed on your pitch/es (to include tents/awnings erected) by 7.00pm (6.00pm for rental accommodation) so as to avoid disturbance to other guests.
Please do let us know if you're not going to be here by 5.00pm on your reserved arrival date; if we don't hear from you by then, we will release your pitch/accommodation for sale and no refund will be payable. Bookings are not transferable.
We kindly ask you to vacate by 11.00am on your day of departure.
If you have a campervan, we may ask you (e.g. at busy times) to be on your pitch by 9.00pm each night so as to avoid disturbance to other guests.
For tents and caravans, we accept cars only; we regret that we may have to refuse entry to vehicles (other than cars) unless agreed in advance. You may need to leave your car in the parking area if asked.
Early Check in (from 1:00pm) and/or Late Check Out (before 1:00pm) is subject to availability, an extra charge and advance reservation is recommended. If you arrive early and/or depart late we will invoice you for the appropriate charge/s.
We do not accept units (tents/caravans/vehicles) over 6 metres and/or over 2.6 metres high; we may invoice you for any space you use beyond your pitch.
Rental Accommodation
The maximum capacity of our accommodation is shown on your confirmation and, due to insurance, only those on the booking form may occupy the accommodation.
Please check your accommodation upon arrival and tell us within 4 hours if you're unhappy with anything; after this time, the lead member of your group will be wholly responsible.
The accommodation allocated to you may be different to the one you may have seen pictured; however, it will be of the same (or better) standard, it will be on our campsite and will accommodate the same number of people. Please let us know when you book if this is not acceptable.
We will ask you for a €100,00 refundable bond (payable locally) against damages or excess cleaning; this will be refunded upon departure after the accommodation has been checked (to include areas covered in the “Welcome Notes” where available). Where the costs exceed the value of the bond, you will agree to reimburse us for the full amount.
If you leave before the accommodation is checked, you will accept our findings; we will process the refund of your bond (less any charges) within 7 days of departure.
“House Rules” and “Pool Rules”
We have created, with previous guests help, “house rules” and “pool rules” which you (and your group) agree to abide by; a copy is displayed on site and is available upon request.
Our swimming pool is a private swimming pool for collective use; therefore, we are not required to provide supervision for it, nor for any of our facilities. We remind you that children are under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians and must therefore remain under their supervision throughout the duration of the stay.
Should a member of your holiday group affect the enjoyment, comfort or health and safety of others, cause wilful damage or contravene site rules, we may ask you to leave immediately and no refund will be payable.
Breakages/Damages
Please report any breakages/damage immediately so that we can remedy this; you agree to reimburse us for any damages for which your group is responsible.
Liability
We cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, damage or injury caused to, or by, guests unless it is proved to be our fault. Your personal possessions are not covered by our insurance so please ensure that you have adequate insurance for your stay.
We cannot be held responsible for the non-performance (or improper performance) of our contract in the event of interruption or unavailability of a holiday in cases of an “Act of God” , by disruption or strike (total or partial) including postal services, transport or communication, flood, fire or any other event beyond our control.
Sometimes, things go wrong and, our liability to you, for whatsoever cause, is limited to 20% of the total cost you have paid for your holiday (excluding any pre-booked extras) as shown in your confirmation.
Any claims must be detailed in writing before the end of your stay and confirmed in writing within 14 days after the end of your stay. We regret that we cannot refund your holiday cost after you have stayed for the full duration (or at least 50%) of your holiday.
We would like to use any feedback you give us for marketing purposes; please let us know when you depart after your holiday if this is not acceptable.
Camping Belle Vue cannot be held responsible in the event of loss, theft or deterioration of property/medication deposited at the reception.
