Liked: We have used this site many times over our travels through France. Easily accessible from the Autoroute. Lovely walk along the river in to Tournus where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. A lovely town. We are in the on-site restaurant where there was plenty of choice.

Liked: Great stopover site as just off the autoroute, but well worth staying longer as it’s a lovely campsite and Tournus itself is a very picturesque town by the river. We received a warm welcome from the lovely young man at reception and were given a large pitch in a quiet area of the site. Food in snack bar simple but delicious. Shower facilities very clean. Highly recommend!

Liked: We used the campsite for one night on the way back to the ferry port. I think we would probably stay there again, maybe for a few days to use the nearby Saone cycle way and visit the town.
Could be better: The sanitary blocks were too small for the size of the campsite. They need to be bigger and further apart to accommodate everyone comfortably. It would be a great campsite if these were improved.

The Campsite of Tournus is an ideally situated, comfortable 3 star campsite in the heart of Southern Burgundy. At only 1,5 km from the A6 Motorway (Exit 27 Tournus), the campsite has a lovely view over the river Saône (50 yards from the campsite). Modern and clean toilet facilities (renovated in 2012), fresh bread and breakfast service, take away, free wifi. The city centre of Tournus, known for the Saint Philibert Abbey and many excellent restaurants, is less than 1 kilometer from the campsite.

- Take the Exit n°27 TOURNUS on the A6 Motorway.
- Follow direction towards Tournus.
- Continue straight on, then turn left at the SNCF Railway station, onto the Rue Saint Laurent, whilst following signs for camping.
- Take the first turn left (rue René Cassin).
- Go straight on, the campsite is situated on the right just after the municipal swimming pool.
The South of Burgundy is a part of Burgundy still undiscovered and very authentic. This part of Burgundy has many things to show for and will seduce its visitors: a varying landscape with vineyards, castles, charming villages, caves, Romanesque churches and abbeys, typical local markets and lots more. If you are more active, you are sure to like the Voie Verte and the multitude of countryside roads for cycling and walking.
Burgundy is also a gourmet region; apart from the world famous wines, our region houses a multitude of great restaurants.
BOOKING CONDITIONS RENTAL CAMPSITE PITCH

3- Only a correctly completed and signed booking form will be considered valid and binding.
4- The confirmation of the booking is dependent on the decision taken by Campsite of Tournus, who does not have to justify its decision.
5- This confirmation partly depends on your acceptation of the following:
- The Campsite of Tournus calculates the total amount for the entire stay.
The deposit of 30 % of the total amount (for the renting of an emplacement) and booking fee of 5 € should be paid within 8 days receiving the confirmation of the booking. Once the deposit has been received, the booking is then definite.
- The balance for the rented emplacement is due at the end of the stay on the campsite.
-In case of late arrival or early departure or total cancellation of the booking, you will still be liable to pay the Campsite of Tournus the balance. No reimbursements will be granted.
- Should there be any changes in the number of people in the party, either on arrival or subsequently, this will be taken into account.
- The rented emplacement is at your disposal the agreed day of arrival from 2 PM and must be vacated before 12 noon.
- If you arrive before the date or time agreed, your allocated emplacement risks being occupied.
- Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter,. If you cancel 30 days or more before the arrival date, the booking fee + 30% of the total amount will be held by the campsite. If you cancel less than 30 before the agreed arrival date, booking fee + total amount becomes payable and is held by the campsite.
- If you defer your arrival date to that stated on the contract, you are obliged to inform the
