In order to benefit from the services offered by Le Camping LE COTTET, we ask that you carefully read the general terms and conditions below. 1- BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
The booking only becomes effective with the agreement of LE COTTET campsite, after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online (or receipt of the booking contract, duly completed and signed within 10 days) and receipt of the deposit.
Payments can be made in cash, by credit card, or by bank transfer.
Reservations are only binding on Camping LE COTTET if the campsite has accepted them, which it is free to do or refuse, depending on availability and, in general, any circumstances that may affect the execution of the reservation made.
Camping LE COTTET offers family-oriented stays in the traditional sense, with accommodation specially designed for this purpose. The campsite reserves the right to refuse any reservation that would be contrary to this principle or that would seek to circumvent it.

Reservations for campsites or rentals are strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation without the prior consent of the campsite.
Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Pitches
The pitch includes: space for a tent, caravan, or motorhome, electricity (at an additional cost), space for one vehicle, and access to the sanitary facilities and reception areas. The maximum number of people per pitch is six.
Rentals
All rentals are fully equipped. LE COTTET campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with more people than the capacity of the rented accommodation.
 
2- GROUP RESERVATIONS.
Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are traveling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered a group.
The accommodations offered on the website are intended exclusively for individual customers.
For all group reservation requests, you must contact Le Camping LE COTTET by phone, email, or via the “contact us” section of our website.

 We reserve the right to review the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.
 
3- RATES AND TOURIST TAX.
The prices indicated are per day, in euros and include tax, and are subject to change without notice. The contractual price is firm and fixed at the time of the customer's reservation. Any change or modification in the VAT rate, as well as any change in the taxes applicable to your stay on the date of invoicing, will be reflected in the price of your stay. The amount of the tourist tax varies according to the community of communes to which the campsite belongs and is a daily supplement for all persons aged 18 and over. (€0.50 in 2026) The price of accommodation or pitch does not take into account the number of people present. 4- PAYMENT TERMS
All reservations made will require a deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay, with the balance to be paid no later than one month before arrival. For last-minute reservations, i.e. less than 10 days before arrival, full payment will be required.

5- NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with Article L.221-28-12° of the French Consumer Code, Camping LE COTTET informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or at specific intervals is not subject to the provisions relating to the 14-day withdrawal period.
 
6- CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
1- Changes to your reservation
Customers may request changes to their stay at Camping LE COTTET (dates or type of accommodation) by written request (letter or email), subject to availability and possibilities. No postponements will be accepted for the following season. If no modification is made, the Customer must complete their stay under the initial booking conditions or cancel it in accordance with the terms and conditions of their cancellation insurance, if they have taken out such insurance, otherwise their deposit will be forfeited.
Any request to extend the length of your stay will be made subject to availability and according to the rates in force.
Any request to shorten the length of your stay will be considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellations and interruptions of stay.
2- Unused services

3- Cancellation by the campsite

7- YOUR STAY
1-  Arrival
a-Rentals
The arrival day for weekly rentals is Saturday during the high season and may be set for another day by agreement with the management during the low season. You will be welcomed from 4 p.m. and a deposit of €300 will be required before the keys are handed over. It is your responsibility to check the inventory and report any missing items to us. 2- During your stay
It is the camper's responsibility to take out insurance. LE COTTET campsite accepts no responsibility for any incident falling under the camper's civil liability. All guests must comply with the rules and regulations. Each tenant or camper is responsible for any disturbances or nuisance caused by people staying with them or visiting them. All visitors must report to reception to provide proof of identity. A fee of €5 will be charged for visits lasting between 2 and 12 hours for use of the campsite facilities. Any visitor found on your pitch without having reported to reception will be asked to leave the campsite and will be charged directly to the account of the person hosting them. Beyond this time, the visitor will be charged the current nightly rate. We remind you that any incident involving the visitor will result in liability for both the visitor and the customer affiliated with them. Any free or paid activity mentioned in our commercial brochure, on our website, or in an email may, in certain circumstances, be modified or canceled upon your arrival.
3- Departure
a-Rental
On the departure date indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated by 10 a.m. and returned in a perfectly clean condition. 
 The inventory will be checked, and you will be responsible for any broken or damaged items, as well as for restoring the premises to their original condition, if necessary. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount of the deposit. If the accommodation has not been cleaned, you will be charged a cleaning fee of €70 including tax.
For any late departure, you may be charged a late departure fee. The deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure if everything is in order.
b-Pitches
The pitch must be vacated by 12 noon. For any late departure, you may be charged a late departure fee.
 
8- ANIMALS
Animals are accepted for an additional fee, provided that hygiene rules are respected and other campsite residents are not disturbed. They must be kept on a leash and you must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate. Animals must not be left alone in the rental accommodation.
We ask that you take your animals to the woods adjacent to the campsite to do their business. In all cases, you are required to pick up after them.
9- DISPUTES AND MEDIATION
Any complaints regarding the non-compliance of services with contractual commitments may be reported by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by email to the campsite management. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may refer the matter to a mediation center.
 
10-  CAMPING SITE LIABILITY
The customer expressly acknowledges that Camping LE COTTET cannot be held liable for any false information communicated by its partners or any third party and mentioned in the brochure or on the website concerning the accommodation sites, in particular the presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure activities, services, and operating dates. All photos and texts used in the brochure or on the website are non-contractual. They are for information purposes only. It may happen that certain activities and facilities offered by the campsite and indicated in the description in the brochure are canceled, in particular for climatic reasons or in cases of force majeure as defined by the French courts.
 
11-  DATA PROTECTION
The information you provide when placing your order will not be passed on to any third parties.
