Camping Domaine La Chabanne

Our little camping site, best discribed as a nature camping, lies approximately 7 km from the village of Châtel-Montagne. It is a small-scale family camping site for people who like space, nature, outdoor activities and no mass tourism. The're 25 largely set up spots (200 -400 m2) and also 8 completely furnished rental lodge tentes of which 6 with private sanitary and 3 luxury domes.

The Montagne Bourbonnaise has a continental climate. This means fairly severe winters and warm, dry summers.In the summer the temperature lies between 25ºC and 35ºC. A cooling mountain breeze ensures that it’s always comfortable.

Spring and autumn are always very mild. Temperatures of 21ºC at the end of October are not exceptional. The hills with a multitude of beech groves change in a colored palette and ensure a splendid display of colour. The Montagne Bourbonnaise are middle range mountains which start at an altitude of 500 meters and rise to a maximum of 1287 meters at the summit of the Puy de Montonçel. The region has ample facilities for sports, both in summer and in winter. Thus, St. Nicolas des Biefs (10 minutes from La Chabanne) features a few wonderful rocks to be climbed. The woods of the Montagne Bourbonnaise are ideal for long walks and quite heavy mountain bike trips.

RESERVATION CONDITIONS LA CHABANNE

1. RESERVATION

Reservations can be made via telephone, or e.mail. We will see to it that your reservation is effected very quickly.

2. PAYMENTS

After receipt of the reservation confirmation 25% of the total rent is payable within 5 days. We should have received your payment of the rest not later than 6 weeks before the date of arrival. With reservations within 6 weeks, the full rent is payable together with the reservation. In the event of non compliance with these terms, we reserve the right to charge service costs or cancel the reservation.

3. PRICES

Prices indicated remain unchanged for the running year, except in the event of printing errors, unforeseen VAT charges, taxes and surcharges or really evident errors.

4. CHANGES IN CONFIRMED RESERVATIONS

Changes that mean a partial cancellation (for instance, a shortening of the reserved period) are subject to the relevant part of the cancellation conditions.

5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Every guest please first report to reception.

Bed and Breakfast: your room is available from 3 p.m. On the day of departure please leave your room before 11 a.m.

Campers: your pitch is available from 3 p.m. and should be vacated, in good condition, before 12 noon.

6. CANCELLATION

A. The reservation can be cancelled without charge within 7 days after the date of the confirmation. This does not apply to reservations made within 6 weeks before arrival.

B. For cancellations between 7 days after the date of the confirmation and 6 weeks before arrival, 50% of the total rent will be charged.

C. For cancellations between 6 weeks before arrival and 1 week before arrival 90% of the total rent will be charged.

D. In the event of a cancellation between 1 week before arrival and the day of arrival itself the full rent is payable.

E. In the event of an early departure or late arrival no rent will be refunded.

F. Cancellations should be in writing.
