All our rentals include basic insurance, but we highly recommend upgrading to our Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) for just €10 per day. This optional insurance can be added even after your reservation is confirmed – simply contact us to include it. With SCDW (€10/day): • In case of a collision, the maximum charge is €800. • If no damage occurs, your full deposit is returned (minus a small processing fee). Without SCDW: • In case of a collision, the maximum charge is €1200. • If no damage occurs, the deposit is returned (minus a processing fee). A €600 deposit is always required, regardless of the insurance option. All refunds are subject to a 2–4% processing fee depending on your card type. The SCDW does not cover intentional damage, gross negligence, off-road driving, or violations of traffic rules. If the vehicle is immobilised following a breakdown or an incident, you will be covered by the assistance provided by the owner. A dedicated number will allow you to contact the assistance company and will inform you about the treatment steps.

When you pay on Yescapa, the vehicle owner's remuneration is kept in a single and secure wallet until the day after you leave on rental. So, no unpleasant surprises, the owner welcomes you on the day of departure to prepare your first steps with his vehicle. A few days later, the remuneration arrives in the owner's bank account.

If you are unable to start your rental due to a vehicle breakdown or for reasons related to the owner, our team will offer you other vehicles that meet your travel criteria, or you will be fully reimbursed.
