We, Cees and Tamara, live in Hoofddorp with our blended family, consisting of three teenage daughters. Our girls don't enjoy camping as much anymore, but just the two of us love going out.

We have owned our first camper since 2026; before that, we camped with a caravan. We prefer traveling north, towards Sweden and Norway.

We really enjoy the freedom of a camper, and our van camper is small and therefore very maneuverable. It feels just like traveling in a big car. That makes it the ideal way to travel for us. Just having your own things with you and being able to go wherever you want.

We think it is a shame for our camper to sit idle so much, which is why we rent it out mainly in the shoulder seasons.
