We recently hired Harry the VW camper van for a weekend camping trip with my husband, son, and myself, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we collected Harry, we were absolutely delighted. The camper van was in immaculate condition and spotlessly clean – not just for a camper van, but spotlessly clean full stop. It was clear that Caroline and John take enormous pride in looking after Harry, and their care and attention really showed. Caroline and John were incredibly helpful from the very beginning, making the whole process easy and enjoyable. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer any questions we had. My husband did all the driving and commented on how enjoyable Harry was to drive. We camped with a large group of people, and Harry attracted a lot of attention throughout the weekend. Several people asked about him and asked me to share the GoBoony listing because they were interested in hiring him themselves. My son slept in the pop-top, while my husband and I slept on the rock and roll bed, which had an additional mattress for extra comfort. The sleeping arrangements were surprisingly comfortable. In fact, on the second night, my husband slept for 8 hours and 15 minutes according to his smartwatch – practically a miracle, as he never sleeps that long! He said it was one of the best night’s sleeps he’d had in ages. We would definitely look to hire Harry again in the future. We had a wonderful experience renting Harry the Camper from Caroline and John. From first point of contact, to returning Harry at the end of our holiday, we found Caroline and John very easy and friendly to deal with. Harry arrived immaculate, clean and felt brand new (he's clearly well looked after) He also arrived with a colouring book and pencils for our daughter (and some drinks in the fridge for us)! which was a lovely welcomed touch. We would highly recommend Harry the Camper to anyone looking for a beautiful VW camper with lovely owners. We hope to book Harry again in the future, and in the meantime, our neighbours who briefly saw Harry parked on our drive, are very keen to book him for their next holiday!
