What an amazing experience and adventure we had on our first time in a campervan, especially one named Ollie. The beautiful Isle of Skye, up to Ullapool and across to Fortrose; more miles will definitely follow. The whole experience was made all the more easy with the kind, friendly and thorough advice provided by James, before, during and after the journey. The beautiful weather also helped and I believe James had a hand organised this! All the boxes ticked then. Exploring the Scottish 500 in Eric with my son is a trip which will live on in our memories, and one I recommend to anyone that has not visited the highlands. Eric lived up to all our expectations and was the ideal size for two adults, providing an unexpected level of comfort , facilities for wild camping (which we did apart from two nights) and was surprisingly warm. The ideal size for navigating the narrow roads that wind there way around the coast Eric didn't let us down once (though I let him down in the last hour of the trip but less said about that the better). James and his son were excellent 'hosts', gave a detailed hand over and demonstration of the equipment on arrival and a very professional hand back on completion of an unbeatable Scottish 500. As previously said, James is a smashing fella who gives a comprehensive hand over. Ollie, was very easy to drive. He was well equipped but the toaster has to sit on the chopping board on the floor as it has a short lead. Sometimes it seemed a bit cramped so try not to overpack (we did🤦🏼‍♀️) Using the table for extra worktop is ideal. Ollie was great for parking and fitting into passing places on the NC500. The night heater kept us warm and toasty. A few times the leisure battery warning went off but it never let us down. - Maybe check with James why? The bed was easy to set up and put away, the bedding was good quality. Having the freedom to see a spot, stop and put the kettle on was fantastic. Parking Ollie up at the end of 2 weeks was like leaving a family member behind 😀 October 2024

Eric was a stellar little pal for our trip up to the Orkney islands. Slept 3 large males mostly comfortably (one slept very comfortably). Loves the little kitchen and the deisel heater is great whilst plugged in. Just the right size tobuzz around try hose remote roads. Not overly big which worked out great. James was excellent to work with and gave us a great orientation. Would totally recommend! October 2024

Wow, what an incredible trip. We hired Ollie from James for our holiday to Scotland for the NC500. James was so accommodating from the moment we booked, to us handing Ollie back at the end of our trip (which we were very sad about!). Ollie was perfect for us, being our first campervan holiday, he was not too big to drive the narrow roads of the NC500 but also spacious enough for the 2 of us with luggage for our 6 nights when pitching up at our campsites. Ollie was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing that would have made campervan life a little easier would have been having a microwave. But appreciate space is limited and we made do with the toaster & hob! James was so friendly and relaxed which made the whole experience stress free. If you’re debating to book with him, we could not recommend him enough. Thank you for everything! September 2024
