This was our first experience of a campervan and boy did we pick a good one! The actual van is a great size so easy to manoeuvre and drives well. It’s well kitted out for both functionality and comfort and the 2 of us (+ large dog) managed fine for 8 days. In fact the beds were noticeably very comfortable. We stayed off grid for 2 nights and the toilet/shower, leisure battery, water tank and LPG made this straightforward even for us 2 newbies. As well as the van’s features Emily has thought of literally everything you could need and stashed it all away in various storage spaces so it doesn’t get in the way but if you need it you can easily find it. I’m talking table/chairs, washing line, thermos flasks, pack of cards to name a few things that come to mind Emily is also half the reason why this review is 5 stars - she was so thorough and communicative before the trip that made what could be a bit overwhelming very reassuring. Even to the point of ringing up P&O ferries to make sure that the LPG was allowed. The check in process was great, there was a handy guide included in the van and I have no doubt that if we got into a pickle and needed a hand she would have picked up the phone and helped us. Had a great time away. The van has a great layout and everything you needed (and more) was provided. It was comfortable even though the weather wasn't great and easy to use. We had such a fantastic experience hiring the VW campervan ARKOO through Goboony with Emily as our host. From the very beginning, Emily was absolutely wonderful – friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Communication with her was excellent; she replied quickly to our messages and made everything really easy. We flew into Southampton Airport, took a train to Basingstoke, and Emily kindly met us there to hand over the van. The whole handover process was smooth and thorough, and she made sure we felt confident before setting off. The campervan itself was brilliant – very comfortable, easy to drive, with everything we needed, including a toilet and shower. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, which made the trip even better. Returning the van was just as easy, with Emily once again meeting us in Basingstoke and making the whole process seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Emily, for being such an accommodating and thoughtful host – we would absolutely recommend you and ARKOO to anyone looking for a great campervan adventure! August 2025

Wow! What an incredible Campervan. This was our very first ever trip in one so went in with zero experience. Emily was fantastic from start to finish. She took time to show us how everything worked. The info booklet is so insightful that any questions we had were answered. The Campervan is fully equipped and a fantastic hire. We will definitely be hiring this again. August 2025

The whole experience from to start to end was delightful, which was entirely down to Emily. Complete campervan novice, and Emily guided us through what we needed, and went a step further by providing everything we could possibly need.
