Hi, I have owned a camper for about 12 years, ever since spending hours packing up a tent and everything else you need, spending hours on arrival setting up, when someone drove up, got out their deckchair, opened a beer and was done. I said then we need to get one of those and a few weeks later we owned our first van. We’ve had the latest one for just under 4 years now and it’s a dream. Everything you need packed in it and ready to go whenever you like. We’ve enjoyed many happy times in this van. It’s easy to drive, much like a car but a bit longer. We’ve been to many places around the UK and would like to take it abroad but that’s not so easy with our two dogs, Bailey and Nelson. We are members of Caravan and Camping and mainly use their sites, bit like a Premier Inn, you know what to expect. However lately we have also used UK pub stopover page on Facebook where you can stay over night, some ask you just to buy a drink, others like you to eat in the pub. So long as you are fairly self sufficient as generally there aren’t many facilities, it makes a good stopover on the way to a campsite. Any questions or tips and advice feel free to contact me.
