Response from Jo the issue is your expectation . you didn't rent with any " company " if you check your contract its a peer to peer individual but as so often can be you expectations suddenly change to a company . if the vehicle served you well , what is the problem . the problem is expectation . you pay small price but want VIP !!!! please rent elsewhere

No possibility of extending the reservation and returning the van later because we booked for the night... We arrive on site, the manager sends us a YouTube video to get all the explanations. I would have liked him to show me how the car's "automatic" system works.... He leaves the place urgently. We are still there and there: impossible to start the car. We watch the video, nothing to do. So we contacted the manager, who told us he had no solution. So we were stuck in a parking lot outside Edinburgh with no solution. Finally he arrives 1 hour/1 hour 30 minutes later to replace the battery which was flat, accusing us of having touched the fire... as if we could drain a car battery in a few minutes. In the end, 2 hours were wasted on our stay with no possibility of extending it. We were really pissed off. Also, the exterior of the vehicle matched the photos but not the interior. Too bad we chose it for the charm of the tartan curtains... which we didn't end up having. Otherwise, the van kitchen is well designed and practical. I do not recommend. August 2025

Response from Jo drunk ? perhaps exhausted from just ridiculous accusations but as not a drinker cant be drunk no evidence and have reported for defamation . your battery was flat - we dont know why . but as you didn't know how to operate the car at all which we would generally assume customers can drive - perhaps you left lights on ? in any case we returned and replaced the battery - not end of world was it ?

This was my first time using a motor home as well as driving a automatic or coming to Scotland. I was so impressed with how helpful everyone was when arrived they had a video on how to use it which help my confidence. Everything was there for us all packed all we brought was our bedding and music . Unfortunately as phones now change I was not able to use a aux for my phone but it was okay as we just listen to the radio. Unfortunately being my first time driving a automatic on the first day had it I accidentally press the handbrake which ment the brakes felt odd me being worrid I contacted them and by the next day they come and got me and checked it and exsplain my error. Jo was reasuring and I was of on my way in no time sika was amazing was very comfortable and I got to explore and most of all had the break I so desperately needed got to be off grid and have the mental health break I needed just surrounded by beauty and off grid no stress from life as signl no one could contact me which was bliss. Had amazing time surrounded by beautiful scenery. Everything was there to cook with and was easy to use. Sitka was nice to drive and everything felt smooth was so nice to just be able to drive . I will definitely be coming back and using Scotland on tour again it was so much easier to not having to leave a credit card and having the option to pay a diffrient kind of way which I think is amazing as people who dont use them have the chance to still enjoy hiring a vehicle. Le van est tombé en panne le deuxième jour, on ne nous en a pas proposé d’autre, ni d’indemnisation pour nos frais (hébergement et voyage). On nous a planté là sur le bord de la route avec nos bagages. J’ai fait une demande de remboursement pour les 3 jours de location restants, je n’ai toujours pas de réponse. July 2025

Response from Jo customer ignored BIG RED LIGHT which said STOP and as a result completely cooked the engine costing us 1000s of pounds . it is a breach of contract to ignore red lights . of course we accept there was an issue but has she stopped quickly as would be expected it could have been solved .

Spend a little more money elsewhere and get a modern more reliable van. Am not going to slate the company but I will not book with them again. Van did its job but owner is very argumentative and rude July 2025

Response from Jo hello Robert. - we are sorry that you say that . we understand you were not happy to pay for extra cleaning because the van was returned with allot of dog hair and our pet policy which you were reminded of 4 times is 0 pet hair at end. we understand you tried to remove it yourself but the fact of matte was there was allot of dog hair and as we say on all our documents - you will be charged, it took 2 cleaners 2 hours to clean the van and you were charged 25 pounds. we cant accept vehciles returned with dog hair - we dont charge to take pets but you need to respect the rules and ensure it was as you promised. we understand you are leaving bad reviews all over for us but who is really at fault here ? perhaps you should be more honest in your promise .

Basta was the perfect little home for my boyfriend and I as we drove around Scotland! Super easy to drive and a perfect little space for us! The bed fit both of us nicely and was pretty comfortable! July 2025

We had a great time renting a car from Joe. He was very helpful, answering any questions we had. The car we got was perfect, and the trip itself was wonderful. I would highly recommend exploring Scotland like this. It is so easy to navigate around and the landscapes are breathtaking. All in all a 10/10 experience! June 2025

From start to finish, go boony and on tour made my holiday excellent, go boony helped find an excellent supplier of \camper vans Their service, communication, and all round customer service were excellent. the fan was kitted out with all essentials the hand over take over was seamless. these are to company`s that I would not hesitate to use again. Thank you all for making my dream trip a reality June 2025

I highly recommend this car rental. The van is very comfortable for a couple, really easy to handle and practical. Furthermore, the price is low compared with other car hire companies. Communication was good throughout the trip. June 2025
