Newbies to campervan trip so handover was very important. Simon explained everything in detail and answered all questions we had, made the trip enjoyable and stress free for us! Hercules was clean and tidy with all facilities in good order and adequate equipment for our trip, the van handled well and gave us no problems. As a first timers this was a great experience for us and would be happy to recommend Simon and Hercules! October 2026

Unfortunately the Van kept going into lymph nodes causing power to be lost especially when going up an incline & the engine light stayed on, quite a hazard when on a motorway. When I reported to the owner we were told it had happened previously, it would have been good to know this & given the choice whether to risk it, we was doing the NC500. The control panel was also faulty no giving correct water information & had to leave the water off as it constantly bleeped. A goodwill gesture would have been appreciated. September 2026

Really clean, modern van and very easy to drive. It was the perfect size for me, and Simon was always on hand by phone if I had any questions. A really easy, enjoyable experience from start to finish — will definitely hire again. Thank you. September 2026

We had a lovely three days in the company of Hercules, a modern, spacious and comfortable camper van. Great to drive too. We rented Simon’s camper van for a long weekend to go to Suffolk. Everything was explained extremely well, by Simon, at the handover. The van was lovely to drive. We’ve never camped before and found everything really easy to understand. The bed is so comfortable! We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely use Hercules again. April 2026

We really loved the van, which came with everything required for a comfortable stay. Simon and Vicky could not have been more helpful in getting the most of the the hire. We're really looking forward to more trips in Hercules :-) October 2025

Simon was very helpful, really explained the van inside and out. The van drove lovely and was easy to use. Very happy to recommend Simon and this van. October 2025

We hired Hercules for one week to tour the Yorkshire moors/dales. We had a wonderful time. The van was snug and cosy on rainy days. Simon helped us with things we needed clarification on, even from his sick bed ! The size of the van did pose problems with parking in towns sometimes but in the future, will make use of park and ride. It has made our decision to think about buying a van of our own quite easy but until then we will definately hire Hercules again ! September 2025

We hired the Hercules – Auto-Trail Expedition 67 from Simon for a 10-day tour of Wales and southern England. From the outset, communication was excellent. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, making the booking process straightforward and reassuring. I was initially a little hesitant about driving a larger vehicle, but the camper was a pleasure to drive. It’s equipped with all the safety features and driving aids you could need, and we were both surprised at how easily it handled even the narrower Welsh roads. The van is fully equipped with everything you might need for your trip, and everything worked perfectly throughout our hire. The bed was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the living space – it genuinely felt like we had all the usual comforts of home. We would happily recommend hiring Simon’s campervan to anyone looking to get out and explore. You’ll find a professional, friendly service and a well-maintained van that makes travelling and creating great memories easy. Thanks, Simon. August 2025
