Our Bay, Lizzie, developed a starter motor problem just before our planned trip and we managed to book Bonnie at the very last minute. Lucy and Stuart were great. Good info before arriving and a valuable walk round and test drive before setting off. The latter was invaluable as Bonnie has many quirks that go with a van that's 50 years old, plus Stuart patiently guides on how best to drive Bonnie. It's still quite demanding with a widely spaced 4 speed box but after a while you get the swing of things, much like driving a lorry, you gave to plan ahead and anticipate, very rewarding plus people look admiringly. The full width bed is very comfy. Storage cupboards and stove are handy but reduce maneuvering space. Most kit you need is provided from electric hookup lead to plates and cutlery. An amazing way to make our Dorset camping trip a rewarding experience, not often you get to drive a classic, and Bonnie never let us down. July 2025

We had the most amazing weekend in South Devon with Bonnie, the iconic camper van! From start to finish, everything was smooth and stress-free – Lucy and Stuart were so kind and accommodating, making the handover and return really easy. Bonnie suffused our bijou camping trip to Cornwall with great vibes and we were the funkiest outfit on the campsite! Drivers fear not - the van is well prepared and Stuart provides a great briefing and test drive beforehand. The on-board facilities are well thought out and the ongoing support from Lucy and Stuart is flawless, so get out there and enjoy! September 2024

Fantastic time renting Bonnie for a friends wedding in Cornwall. Bonnie has her quirks but it’s part of the charm and to be expected on someone her age. We got a full rundown before we left and a little test drive to help us master the driving. Bonnie does not drive like a modern car, but again this is part of the charm and experience Bonnie is surprisingly spacious and comfortable to sleep and had everything we needed for the weekend included. Would Definitely recommend for a fun weekend down south August 2024

Lucy and Stuart were so kind to trust us to drive with Bonnie. ;) What a lovely experience it has been. We took her for a trip around Wales and it was beautiful. Bonnie never let us down, during that trip. We got lots of compliments of other campers or people passing by for Bonnie. All the credits for the owners to take the time to explain everything to us.
