From the moment we arrived for checkin until the delivery back to Romsey, Carl and Dolly were amazing. Their communication was top notch, friendly, helpful and the camper was exactly as described. She was perfect for our family of 5 to tour around the UK and Ireland. I’d highly recommend them to anyone. June 2025

Carl was a great host! The handover went smoothly and helped me understand the many different aspects of driving Dolly the motorhome. We had an amazing trip to Scotland; the fact that we were in such an incredible motorhome enhanced our experience. November 2024

They were available and helpful when we needed assistance during the trip. They both were friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. It was well thought out to include BBQ and folding chairs, tables in the motorhome! September 2024

I would love to give this five stars as the owners were so lovely. We rented dolly for the bank holiday weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for, plenty of space, clean and the amenities you need, even included bedsheets which a lot of camper hires don’t. However, there were a number of things that were broken. I know it’s due to back to back hires but it really did affect our experience unfortunately. The bathroom door handle broke (which we were warned it was a bit broken from the previous hire but it was very broken) resulting in the five year old with us getting stuck in there for quite a long time and mum and dad really panicking. The bathroom window was also broken so we couldn’t get through from that side either. One of the window blinds was broken so we couldn’t close the light out completely and two out of the four camp chairs also broken so we couldn’t actually sit outside, we didn’t use the awning or anything. The other bits and bobs were minor issues and didn’t bother us at all and we were pre-warned about the breakages when we arrived on pick up. The owners were very communicative and flexible in the run up and after which was great but you hire and pay a price based on the camper as it is advertised and unfortunately Dolly wasn’t in the condition as advertised. We would hire her again as long as we could be sure everything had been fixed. September 2024

We loved our time in Dolly. Was the best family holiday we have ever had! The owners were awesome and super supportive with all our first timer questions. If you are thinking about van life - do it with these guys and in Dolly - well worth it! #doitwithDolly August 2024

We enjoyed 2 weeks in Dolly doing the coastlines of the UK, we being 4 adults, 2 dogs and a 4 month old and we really did have the best time! Pros: Spacious Modern Drives well Good in all terrains Comfy as passengers Communication from Pretty and Carl was great and responsive. Warm inside so a big pro for the cooler months if travelling. Everything you need is inside for essentials such as utensils, cutlery, cleaning etc Lots of storage Shower is seperate to toilet and sink area which makes an enjoyable wash rather than others we have stayed in where showers pulls from sink or is all in one. We didn’t use the awning as we were on the go a lot but it was a great addition for if setting up for a few days as well as the camping chairs etc provided. Cons: Could do with an ‘idiots guide’ to the general use of things rather than referring to the main manual. We had an issue with no hot water for a few days but it was a simple fix and could have been a quick fix if we’d have had the guide. The heater for the vehicle is under the double table bed and it get VERY warm when sleeping so you’ll need a fan, we had the temperature set at the lowest too. Beds so uncomfortable to sleep on for a long trip so would reccomend mattress toppers to take with you. Few things needed addressing for our trip; grill, break sensor, door, limited chemicals, broken windows but due to back to back bookings time wasn’t made to ensure these were resolved. Bottom draw didn’t shut in kitchen so we had to wedge this closed with our cases. Lots of sites at camps and wild we visited required a lot of leveling so bigger ramps would have been better so that we could be flat. We would definitely use Dolly again for our travels. The whole process was great and everything was explained in detail by the owners. They were always quick to respond to any queries I had. The motorhome was excellent with a few minor issues which were all in the process of being fixed. Nevertheless it was very comfortable for our large family of 7 and was a joy to drive. July 2024

Dolly was the greatest addition to our holiday! We travelled in her from the UK through France and into Spain and back again and she made it with ease. Would highly recommend! June 2024
