We had a fantastic two weeks away in Gandalf exploring the west coast of Scotland! Gandalf is easy to drive even in the narrow Scottish roads, and well kitted out with everything you need. Chris and Ali are so kind and easy to communicate with. They thought of everything. Would definitely recommend and hope we can make it back up to the Highlands again in Gandalf! August 2024

Chris was a lovely host who went out of his way to accomodate our needs and ensure that our family had a memorable and magical trip. We are so very appreciative for his time and generosity, and would highly recommend ‘Gandalf’ to any fellow travellers. It was an extraordinary way to tour Scotland with two young children who didn’t want the trip to end (likewise for the adults), and we would have extended our adventure if we had had the time! We booked the van from our home in Australia and the whole booking and travelling process was seamless and very straightforward. ‘Gandalf’ comfortably slept the four of us (the kids loved the bunk in the roof) and was a delight to drive- a perfect size for narrow roads but also to park in busy towns. Chris is a incredible communicator and promptly responded to any questions we had and we always felt supported on our trip. I also emailed Goboony with some questions and it was great company to book through. Thank you Chris and Gandalf-already dreaming of our next trip! June 2024

We are very thankful to Ali and Chris for renting us Gandalf. Both were exceptionally helpful, responsive, and caring. The campervan was well-maintained, easy to drive and thoughtfully equipped with high-quality items. Nothing was missing. Ali and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. Chris was very helpful from start to finish and was flexible. He even made sure new tyres were fitted before we travelled. We travelled the nc500 in Gandalf which was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and who knows we may return! May 2024

Chris was fantastic, he explained everything about Gandalf and all his many wonderful features. Chris was also super flexible regarding the pick up and drop off times for us, and even let us have him for an extra day. Gandalf was everything we needed and I must admit I was a bit reluctant to hand him back! We are definitely missing him 😢. Chris is a thoroughly nice guy, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
