We expected the van to be dated as it was over 20 years old, we also expected it to be clean & functional. There were little things that we would have overlooked, like knobs coming off doors, curtains falling off their tracks, the dividing door between the lounge and the bedroom not working at all etc etc. However we couldn't deal with the wet carpet in the kitchen and although Nick did respond straight back to us, he told us to turn the pump off which we hadn't turned on anyway. The carpet was soaking and during the day/night smelt really really bad. We returned the van the next morning and lost 2 nights hire. All in all a very disappointing experience and waste of money. Nick+family were really friendly, helpful and flexible. He has vans of various types so you should be fine depending on your needs. No problem recomending him for future trips. No fuss bond returned. Very positive experience. We forgot that we left a few beers in the vans fridge. I hope he enjoyed them. Ha ha August 2025

Had a great festival weekend in the Rapido. Handover was great, Nick was on hand for any of my daft questions and therefore everything went without a problem. Would definitely recommend. August 2025

I was very happy with the experience of hiring from Nick. The motorhome was clean and ready to go. Handover was straightforward and simple. We took it across Wales to the Pembrokeshire coast and it never missed a beat. It's very comfortable to drive and to stay in, plenty of storage with everything working fine, which isn't always the case with hiring. Nick was always just a phone call away, which was very handy! Inside the motorhome was filthy, the seats, kitchen area and all the dishes had to be cleaned. Nick's son in-law did the hand over and didn't seem to know how everything worked. We were asked to sign Nick's own terms and conditions but refused, on the basis that we had booked through Goboony. The door to the living area does not lock but after phoning Nick, the van can be secured with the drivers door central locking. Water is leaking at floor level in the kitchen area, so that the carpet is constantly wet. There was no waste container for grey water. Mechanicaly it was sound except for the gear knob coming off of the stick. We managed to fix it back on using tape. We had to phone Nick several times and he was always very helpful. Other than a couple of broken door knobs, the inside is good for it's age. Plenty of room for 2 plus our large Labradoodle. Stressful at first but still had a good week. We had a truly wonderful experience with Nick’s camper! From start to finish, everything was seamless — the van was spotless, beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a perfect trip (be aware you need to bring your own outdoor camping table). Nick was incredibly friendly, helpful and made the whole process feel easy and welcoming. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving guests a great experience.
