The little camper is a very functional “rough and ready” experience. I liked that it is basically like driving a car, easy to park etc (though remember the height is important for undercover parking). Best in good weather as you will largely be outside, though it comes with a tent extension which makes for a much more comfortable experience in poor weather and worth putting up if you are staying in one place for a few days. Had a wonderful weekend away with Mathilde! Chris was very helpful and took me through everything at the handover. She drives as you would expect a LWB transit to drive but inside she is comfortable and every detail has been thought through for ease of living. My main reason for selecting her was the size and orientation of the bed because I am tall and I’m pleased to say when I woke up I had forgotten I was in a van, it was that comfortable. You need a king-size flat or a super king sheet for it, just fyi as it’s a big mattress. Plenty of power and water for a weekend without a hook up. Cleaning her up was simple (with the help of a YouTube video to remind me how to empty and reset the toilet). Handover was flexible which was helpful for us both. May 2026

We had the most wonderful adventure with Matilde, the beautiful green campervan! From start to finish, the whole experience was seamless and so much fun. Chris made the booking simple and welcoming, and the handover was efficient with a quick guide of the essentials and sharing of useful information and , Matilde was clean and well-equipped, and ready to go. I took her up to the Lake District with my two children and our dog, and she truly felt like a cozy home on wheels. The kids loved having their own little space, and we were amazed at how cleverly everything was laid out — plenty of room for all of us without ever feeling cramped. Even Lucy out dog settled right in! Driving Matilde was a dream: smooth, reliable, and surprisingly easy to handle on those skinny winding Lake District roads. Every stop was an adventure — waking up to mountain views, cooking breakfast by the lakeside, and having the freedom to explore without worrying about where we’d stay. Matilde made our trip unforgettable. She’s not just a campervan, she’s a character in the story — and we’ll definitely be booking her again for our next family adventure. Highly, highly recommended! Tutto perfetto! Chris è un proprietario attento e molto disponibile ad ogni esigenza. CamperVan utilizzato per girare le Highlands scozzesi ed abbiamo sfruttato tutta la sua "indipendenza"; infatti la capacità contenitiva del serbatoio di carico dell' acqua, la capacità contenitiva del wc ma soprattutto i pannelli solari ci hanno permesso di non dipendere da strutture ricettive (tipo camping), con un notevole risparmio e soprattutto con tutta la libertà che un viaggio in camper dovrebbe avere. We had such a brilliant weekend in Mathilde! The campervan had everything we needed for our little family of four – thoughtfully equipped, comfortable, and super cosy. It was an absolute dream to sleep in, with blackout blinds that meant no early wake-ups (a real treat with young kids!). Despite not having an electric hook-up at our campsite, the van’s power supply lasted the whole long weekend with no issues – the gas cooker and electrics worked perfectly. Chris was fantastic to deal with – friendly, responsive, and offered a great selection of extras that made things even easier. We’d absolutely recommend Mathilde to anyone looking for a stress-free campervan experience. Already planning our next trip! July 2025
