Liked: The Grey Room worked really well for our family of 3! Loads of room to spread out. The pool and grounds are lovely. The on-site restaurant was pleasant as were the staff.

Could be better: Somewhere to get coffee in the afternoon without having to go off-site. There was a mix up about the time we were supposed to check out. There is no notice on the back of the door in the room to say. We asked reception, and were told 12 noon. (Which we thought was marvellous, as it gave us time to have a relaxing stay, and reorganise our luggage before moving on to our next destination!). However, we upset the lady in charge of housekeeping, because it turned out to be 10am. This was confirmed by a different receptionist at checkout.

Liked: A very pleasant campsite with great sunsets. Nice bar and pool

Could be better: My children wish the pool table was free of charge!

Could be better: Toilet emptying facilities need major up date Emergency contact numbers need displaying Also emergency over contact number on site should you need anyone as other campsite have night security available

Liked: It’s our first time staying at the site and it was cracking campsite in a brilliant location, close to the Normandy sights and near the Ferry port. We will definitely be back.

Liked: We stayed at the site two years ago for a two night stop over before crossing the channel on the way home as part of a Europe tour, the two days wasn't enough, so we decided to include the site this year for longer to end with a relaxing few days before the crossing. The site is quiet, relaxing and very well cared for. The facilities are excellent and the whole atmosphere is amazing. Check in and check out was smooth and easy with polite and charming staff. The restaurant food was very good with a waiter who's customer facing skills were second to non.

Could be better: Maybe cut back some branches on the trees, although the shade was very welcome this year, some higher fans struggled with some of the lower branches.

Liked: Great service, beautiful grounds, good pitch, delicious restaurant, helpful reception staff. Always a lovely stop and we always return.

Liked: The unspoilt nature of the Chateau and grounds ,the quality of facilities and the sheer frenchness.

Could be better: The amenities block in the woods would benefit from refurbishment.
