Liked: So much to do, clean and friendly

Liked: Regular holiday spot over the years but have missed the last four years due to Covid. But back and just as good as ever with excellent staff from Julien in the office to the restaurant staff and the cleaners. Sadly this time a few campers left their pitches in a disgraceful state after they had left, but it was quickly tided up by the site owner

Liked: This site is beautifully laid out, with a pool area, large kids play area, boules pistes and lots of open space. It also has a restaurant with excellent, well priced food, a bar and a daily fresh bread delivery. Booking is easy and very efficiently handled on arrival. This is our fourth stay and we will definitely return. It is a perfect start and finish to our touring holidays around France.

Liked: Stayed at Gandspette many times over the years. Great site, Julien is so helpful he organised a local vets for our dogs to get health cert. and even offered us the use of his car, The pools , Restaurant, and facilities are also amazing all in all an amazing site.

Liked: Very countryside feel

Could be better: Some plots looked tight

Liked: A peaceful site with lots of leisure activities. Get to the pool early to have it to yourself! Swimming pools, tennis courts, multisport pitch, basketball and table tennis. Excellent size pitch, with water close by. Restaurant and takeaway service, we had pizza and frites, very tasty - as was the beer on the terrace while we waited! Lovely walk into and around the forest. Easy walk to the Blockhouse, everyone must visit. Carrefour a couple of minutes away, with petrol station.

Liked: We had a fantastic weeks stay 26/07-02/08. Highly recommend!

Liked: Welcoming atmosphere, great amenities and friendly staff. Truly didn't know what to expect as it was our first time camping in france. We would 100% return to this site. Reception were friendly, funny and very welcoming and the pool/sports areas were great for kids during a VERY hot week. Clean toilets and showers. Plenty to do and see in the local area and on site bar and restaurant made it very comfortable and relaxed.

Could be better: Only 2 issues came up during our stay. The edge of the pool was very rough and resulted in a scratch to the foot for our son that was painful. And perhaps another hand washing sink at the toilet block would be great to reduce wait time

Liked: Lovely clean place, reception and other staff very friendly. Pool is lovely and clean, no shop on site and no near by shop so take what you need. Mozzies got quite bad so take repellent for night time. Lovely park and bouncing castle for kids. Bar and icecream is a nice touch. They do serve food but cannot comment as did not try it. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly. We would stay again.

Could be better: Could have a stop with a few bits in :) Armbands etc

Liked: Lovely site and very clean. Stayed two nights on route home. Ate in the restaurant on last night very good food. Played lots of table tennis and a bit of swimming. Pool can get very busy..Hope to return for longer in the future.
