Liked: The site was generally ok.

Could be better: We arrived late, after about 5 hours of driving and our travelling companions (who arrived a few hours earlier) checking in and let us know where our pitch was. When we arrived, we didn't spot the sign for reception (it was behind a tree but was at least partly visible to be fair but just missed it), so headed straight to the pitch. Was chased by a very angry man telling me that he wasn't happy and generally being aggressive. Just not the best start really. It was an honest mistake and really didn't need such an aggressive action. Restaurant staff also less than helpful.

Liked: Love this site and use it when we arrive near the coast for our return to the UK. This time I had inadvertently booked a pitch without electricity and Julian had amended it on the assumption we would need power :). - Great customer service - thank you.

Could be better: The only adverse comment I would make would be around guests rather than the site. The pool is unsupervised and several teenagers by the pool were rugby tackling each other and throwing each other into the pool. The poolside was quite slippery and whilst I am not anti kids having fun, the risk of a head injury is greater and it did worry me why the parents didn't rein them in!

Liked: helpful site manager, perfect English speaker and went out of his way to provide receipt and electrical converter.

Could be better: electrical hook ups could be updated to 16A but converters provided.

Liked: We used this site as the start and finish to our holiday before moving on to it's associated site at Le Lac d'Orient. There are lots of activities for children and a good restaurant/bar to relax in. We appreciated that they gave our son's family and us adjoining sites for our caravans.

Liked: Great reception on arrival. Good choice of non electric pitches to choose and without being to close to other campers on the same part of the campsite. Super clean facilities, with the toilets and showers cleaned regularly and were spotless! Lovely pools which were extremely clean.

Could be better: Additional shelf in shower cubicle to stand shower gel etc would be so helpful.

Liked: Everything - welcome on arrival was great, lots of info regarding opening times of facilities etc. Emplacement was large and all well spaced out. We used the bar which was busy with other campers - but service prompt. Though we didn’t use it the pool area looked welcoming and was a hit with other campers as there were lots of people in there. All in all a great place to stay and we will return - but for a few days next time. Too good for just the one night!

Liked: A brilliant campsite for little ones with plenty on offer to keep everyone entertained. Facilities were clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to St Omer and Dennlys parc. Also great distance from Calais port and Rotterdam Europoort. It was useful to have a supermarket only 1km away. We had a fantastic time and won't hesitate to return.

Liked: Great position not too far from Calais .Great pool area .Bonus having one pool heated and one unheated .Bar and restaurant was okay food was average but the price reflected on that fact .Lovely staff .Liked the fresh bread for sale in the mornings

Could be better: Didn't like the fact the was only one sink out side the toilet block to hand wash after using the toilet so witnessed on a number of occasions people simply didn't bother .

Liked: Loved the on-site restaurant, beer, swimming pools, table tennis, fresh bread in the morning, spacious pitches surrounded by mature trees. Spotless showers and toilets. A fabulous setting.

Could be better: Don’t advertise ice creams throughout the day but put the freezer in the bar area and lecture guests for trying to make a purchase for their child when the bar is closed.
