Liked: I chose this great campsite to be close to 2 WW1 battlefield sites that my ancestor served in 1915, the site was an ideal location and I even got to visit some preserved Canadian trenches, tunnels and the iconic memorial at Vimy Ridge. The facilities and the camping pitch were ideal for me and I was even invited to park my motorbike in one of the outbuildings!! Also, we had some heavy rain during 2 of my 4 night's and there was no flooding where I was pitched or in the communal area. The nearby town of Ballaeu is a charming place with free parking in the centre.

Liked: I stayed overnight on the way into France and on the way back. It was not the closest to Calais, about one hour travel, but very comfortable and quiet with a friendly, helpful English speaking host

Could be better: For a longer stay I would have been looking for a cafe for light meals within 10 minutes walk and even overnight it would have been useful to be able to get coffee on site without setting up hook up power for a kettle.

Liked: I stopped overnight here on my way back to the UK and it was perfect. A very warm welcome with great toilets/showers and a nice quiet pitch made private by hedges. There is a great farm shop too with lots of local produce.

Could be better: none

Liked: Die Ruhe, der großzügige Platz, das sehr freundliche Personal. Die Fahrt mit dem E-Mobil über den Platz. Die sauberen und modernen Sanitäranlagen. Ach, und der tolle Hofladen.

Could be better: Geef bij aankomst gasten een plattegrond van de camping mee.. of zet meer bewegwijzering op de camping.

Liked: Fijne camping met leuke boerderijwinkel. Vers brood in de ochtend

Could be better: De boerderijwinkel gaat om 09:00 uur open. Dus dan kan ook het brood opgehaald worden. Als je zoals ik een lange fietstocht wil maken zou dat wat vroeger mogen.

Liked: Central gelegen . Accomodatie is zeer goed . Camping echt netjes .de ontvangsyt is hartelijk .

Could be better: Geen

Liked: Zeer ruime plaatsen. Prachtige omgeving. Winkel met streekproducten. Je hoeft de camping niet af. Sanitair prima!

Could be better: Camping laten zoals deze is.

Liked: Tout a été parfait. Accueil au top. Personnel souriant et toujours à l'écoute. Produit régionaux à profusion et à des prix corrects.
