Liked: Only had one night stay, but the pitches were secluded and shaded. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless with plenty of hot water. Lovely quiet peaceful stay, owners were kind and very helpful.

Could be better: Shorter gras on pitches

Liked: The layout of the site plenty of room on pitch with privacy. washing facilities very clean, good showers. Would definitely recommend to friends as a base for region and very convenient to commute to Paris by train which takes less than an hour from maintenon. The village is well served with shops/cafes. The site had a few cyclists and the reception had suggested routes. Order you pastries/baguettes the night before. Really liked the ease of booking in, very helpful with information. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay and a very well laid out site.

Liked: Gemütlicher Campingplatz, schöne Parzellen, sehr grün, super gepflegt!

Liked: Large, but very quiet campsite with very large pitches. Within half an hour in Chartres and within an hour in Versailles. Park your car there and 20 minutes later you are in the center of Paris. There is also a station closer by to Versailles or Paris. You can also enjoy cycling in the area (Komoot!) across vast fields, through forests, along lakes, and just read a book at the campsite in between. Great for unwinding. The sanitary facilities look a bit dated, but are spotless, so do not let that stop you!
