Greer – 6 berth Autoquest 180 Prestige, 2011

Thanks for your interest in hiring our family motor home, Greer.

Greer is a 2011 Elddis Autoquest 180 which sleeps 6 people between 3 double beds, she also has 6 x seat belts. Greer is based on the rarer 130bhp 6 speed Peugeot Boxer which really does make the difference on the hills and also fuel economy. Greer has gas/electric heating, gas/electric fridge/freezer and gas/electric hot water making her ideal for onsite or wild camping. Greer also has a leisure battery and solar panels fitted on the roof for use while off-grid. Cooking in Greer is made easy with the gas hob/oven and grill. Greer has a mid area dining table and rear U shape lounge giving good visibility all round. Greer also has 2 x TV/DVD players (1 at the rear lounge and 1 at the over cab bed) which is perfect for keeping the kids entertained.

Greer will be supplied at the start of every hire with at least 1 full bottle of gas, electric hook-up cables, leveling chocks, 4 x bike rack, cutlery, crockery, utensils and pans. Greer also comes with a mattress topper, bottom fitted sheet, 4.5 tog duvet, 2 pillows and a throw per bed. One bath towel is also provided for each traveler.

Greer has a built in awning and also comes with a small BBQ, 1 x camping chair per traveler and a folding clothes line.

At the start of each hire Greer will have a full tank of diesel and should be returned the same. The toilet cassette will be supplied ready to use and should be returned clean and empty (£100 will be deducted from the deposit if the toilet cassette is not empty and clean. The grey waste water tank will also be supplied empty and should be returned the same.

We are based close to both Glasgow and Glasgow Prestwick Airports and when possible can be flexible with pickup/drop off times and locations or arrangements to get to us. We can normally offer very good rates for this. Please ask in advance if you think you will need our help with this. If Greer is returned late without prior agreement we will charge a late return fee of £50 per hour if it will impacts the next collection time, in peak times our turn around can be tight.

Greer is just over 7m long without the bike rack and can be driven on a standard UK license but the driver does need to be between 25-75 with a minimum of 2 years driving experience and must provide a copy of a full clean driving license along with 2 further proofs of ID with their current address on it matching their driving license (bank statement, utility bill etc). Hirers are also required to provide an access code to the DVLA license check scheme. We can accept foreign licences but please make us aware of this in advance as additional paperwork may be required.

Please note :

The £1000 security deposit must be received at least 24 hrs before the hire is due to start. This cannot be paid by cash.

When Greer is returned without any damage the deposit will normally be returned within 48hrs. Any damage to the motor home will result in the deposit/part deposit not being returned. If any repair work is required the remainder of the deposit will not be returned until the work has been carried out.

Well behaved pets are welcome on request at an additional charge of £25. We do ask that pets are kept off the upholstery and are not left unattended in the vehicle at any time.
